Ryan stood some distance away from where I stood, glaring at me as though he were at the verge of tearing me apart.
“Here you go!”Nathan said and passed a glass of wine over to me.
I smiled calmly and collected it after which I returned my eyes to Adam and my mother. They were done with their vows and was being proclaimed as King and Luna.
Despite how hard I tried to keep a steady heartbeat, my heart still raged. It felt wrong and as though we had just entered into a world of unending trouble.
