The wedding was over and almost everyone started dispersing. My mother was elated to the core and couldn’t help smiling at every single person that crossed her path.
Adam was excited as well. He held my mother’s hands as though someone was going to take her away from him and I couldn’t help but chuckle calmly. They both looked good together and I couldn’t deny that.
“Congratulations!” I finally said as i walked across to them with a bright smile on my face.
My mother turned to me, pulled me into a warm hug and sniffed hard on my shoulders. This was one embarrassing moment and I couldn’t figure out how to react.
I tapped her back and slowly disentangled myself from the hug, while watching tears trickle out of her eyes.
