Supernatural?

2450 Words
Astrid Three days have passed and I have finally gotten out of bed. I still can’t believe that he treated me like that but I needed to move on with my life. I needed to take care of my garden. It was my go to place besides home. I have always felt one with nature. I guess that is why I tend to turn to nature for everything. I grew every herb and flower that I could possibly need for any type of healing. I hardly ever went to the doctor for an ailment since I had started my garden. I also dabbled in making spell jars for myself. Nothing makes you feel better than adding a little bit of intentions out to the universe. I have never been drawn to dark magic but I have never been closer than right now.  My heart aches. It literally aches. I know that his words should not have this big of an effect on me but they do. I am happy with myself, with my body, but around him, I feel so self-conscious. I wanted to hide every lump and stretch mark on my body. He made me feel lower than him from the start. I knew that I should have just said no when he asked me out on that date. I have never been one to go for the model type of man. I like men to be rugged and to know that they could protect me. Not that he couldn’t have protected me but I bet he wouldn’t have wanted his hair to get messed up in the process.  I already feel lighter. My heart is happier now that I am out here trimming foliage back and collecting lavender, rosemary, and bay leaves to dry out. Just as I started to hang the lavender on my drying rack, I felt like someone was watching me. I turned around and I could see someone who looked like Sedrick walking towards me. I just wanted to turn and run but I couldn’t. It was like I was frozen. He was just as tall as Sedrick but he walked with a purpose. He had more muscle than Sedrick causing him to look bulkier and his hair. Ah, his hair. It was long and flowy. It fell in soft brown waves to his shoulders. I just wanted to run my fingers all the way through it. He had on a tight burgundy shirt and distressed boot cut jeans. Those jeans slid right over big black boots. I bet he would look like a God on a motorcycle.  Wow. Astrid, get it together. He is now standing right in front of me and I don’t know how long it has been. I quickly clear my throat and thoughts and ask if I can help him with something.  “I am sorry to come up on your property like this but I just had to see you. I am Sebastian. I am Sedrick’s brother. I wanted to make sure that you were okay after everything that i***t did to you.” “Sedrick’s brother? How did you find me? I’m okay. A little sad but okay. I don’t know why it hurt so much when he kicked me out of his hotel room and I sure as hell don’t know why I am spilling my guts to you right now.” He gave the best sounding chuckle ever. I could listen to this man talk for the rest of my life. His voice was deep and had a slight rasp to it. It was making me wetter by the second.  “That is good that you aren’t devastated by what he did to you. Could we maybe have lunch and get to know each other? I would like to tell you about my family.” That was odd but I am down! “I would like that.” Why do I keep agreeing to see these men without knowing them? My entire life, I have been taught to not get into cars with strangers and here I am. He has a beautiful Tesla. I have always wanted to see one of these cars in person.  Sebastian: I had to call in the tracker. I have been in Augusta for an entire day and I am out of leads. I finally got Blaze to talk to me long enough to get Appling out of him. At least, that is narrowed down a little bit. She should be able to be found soon. I just hope that she is mentally well at this point. I have heard stories of how hard mates take it when they are rejected.  “Alpha, I have found her scent. It’s in the gas station but it is highly concentrated around a little shack behind the gas station. I believe this is where she lives.” “Thank you, Michael. I will take it from here. I appreciate you coming down to help me on such short notice.” “No problem, Alpha, and good luck with your mate.” I owe Michael a huge bonus right now. I have to get this to girls home right now. I began to follow Michael’s instructions to this gas station. It must be where she works. There it is. The tiniest, cutest little house that I have ever seen. It looks like it is right out of a novel. It has wildflowers growing all around it and it smells amazing.  I run up the porch and lightly knock but there is no answer. She has to be here. I can smell her. I wish that I could bottle that smell. I decide to walk around the house and see if she is outside. At the side of the house, I am met with a fence and a sign that reads “Garden of Heathens”. That is very interesting. She must love to garden then.  I opened the little gate and I begin to hear a light singing as I walk along the path. I could not tell from the front of the house how big this garden actually is. There are flowers, herbs, and vegetables growing every where. Rows of neat little flower boxes line both sides of the yard.  She is in the middle of the garden at a little table. She is a Goddess. This woman is breath taking. She is curvy and perfect. She has on a neat little sundress that highlights her breasts. It flairs out over her hips and highlights her tan legs. She has her long brown hair braided over the side of her shoulder. I just now realized that the ends of here hair are a light violet color. She moves with such grace and elegance. I can see that she has flower trimmings in her hand. She is tying the ends together in a neat little bow.  She must have sensed me. She turned around quickly and I realize that I must have scared her. I walked up to her as she is scanning my body. I can smell her attraction to me. I want to take her right now, right here.  She quickly recovers and asks if she can help me. She is so sweet and her voice is so calming. It's small and perfect. Just like she is. I begin to explain to her who I am and why I am here. I can tell that she is hurt by my brother but I also sense that she is angry towards him. She surprises me by agreeing to go to lunch with me. I walk her around the house and hold the car door open for her. Her eyes light up in the cutest way when she sees my car. I am glad to know that she appreciates a good car.  “Where would you like to go eat? I will take you anywhere you would like to go.” “Umm.. I really like Ember’s in Grovetown. If that is okay with you, of course.” “That would be just fine with me.” The drive is silent but not tense. As soon as we make it to the little burger place, she lights up. “I just love their salads here!” If I can make her this happy every day of my life, then I will be the happiest man ever. We ordered our food at the window and go to sit at the picnic tables out front.  “So what do you do for a living, Sebastian?” “I help run our family company with my brother since my father has stepped down.” “Well that must be nice to work so closely with all of your family. I miss my family terribly.” “Why do you miss them? Do they not live around her?” “No, I am not from Georgia originally.” The conversations continue like this until we have ate all of our food. I ask her if she is ready to go home and she says yes. As we are driving back she is telling me a story about going fishing with her family and cousins. It sounds like she had a great childhood and I know that she would be a great mother to my pups. That is when I decide that I am going to lay it all out on the table when we get back to her house.  “Would you mind if we go talk some more in your garden?” “No, I have some more work to do back there so it would be nice to have someone to talk too.” “I am going to tell you something and it’s going to sound like I am crazy. I promise that I am not! I will even show you to prove it to you.” “You’re kinda freaking me out now.” “I know and I am sorry but do you believe in the supernatural?” “I suppose I do. I am pagan afterall. I try very hard to not step in any Fairy Circles.” She just gave the cutest smile after saying that. Maybe there is a small chance that she won’t freak out.  “That is very interesting and a topic that we will touch on later, I am sure. You see, when I said that I run family business, I didn’t mean that it was all blood family. I am a werewolf. My entire family and pack is. My brother and I actually run the pack. We are the Alphas.” I just stop talking right there and see how she will react. She is just staring at me. Those honey eyes look like they are hiding a very interesting conversation in her head. She keeps opening her mouth as though she is going to say something but quickly closes it again.  “Werewolves? You are a werewolf. Is that why I am so drawn to you and your brother?” I was not expecting that to be her first question. “Slightly, my brother and I are your fated mates. The moon Goddess blessed us with you as our Luna.” “Oh, I think she messed up then. Your brother made it very clear that he doesn’t want me at all. I think she made a mistake.” “No, she didn’t make a mistake my brother is just a shallow pig who deserves nothing good in life.” She burst out in laughter at that. It was the most amazing sound. “So if we are mates, then do you want me?” “I want you more than anything in this world. You are the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen and you seem so nice and calming. I think you’ll make an amazing Luna and mother.” “Mother? You want to have babies with me? You just met me.” “I know that it is soon but we move quickly in the werewolf world. You are my perfect match. I can’t wait to mark and mate you. To see your belly swell with my pups.” “Wow. Mate and Mark? What does that mean exactly?” “Well, typically, I would have made love to you as soon as I found you and during that love making I would have bit your neck, right here. That would connect us on a whole new level. We can feel each others emotions and even mind link each other. You would be mine forever and I would be yours forever.” “This is a lot of information to take in. I should be scared to death and running for the hills but, strangely, I am not. I want everything you just said. I want to have a family and a big extended family again. Can I trust you though? Are you going to give me the same hateful speech that your brother did?” “Oh my love, no. I would never say any of those things to you because they are simply not true. You are a Goddess and you will be a perfect fit to be my Luna. I am so attracted to you. Every curve and point in your body draws me in.” “I feel like I can believe you. I just have one last question. Can I see your wolf?” Slade is pouncing in my head like a puppy. Hearing her say those words have sent him over the edge. He wants to shift right now. “Calm down. We can’t shift this close to her.” “Yes, my wolf would love to meet you.” Her eyes lit up instantly. “You can communicate with your wolf? What is it’s name?” “His name is Slade and yes we can communicate with each other. He hears everything that I hear.” I get up slowly and walk behind the only tree in her yard to take my clothes off. I begin to wonder if this is a good idea. She has taken all of this information extremely well for a human. What if this pushes her over the edge? “I can feel that she is so strong. I don’t think we have anything to worry about Sebastian. She will handle this very well.” “Thanks Slade. I needed that.” I decide its time to do it. I start to shift and then I hear a quick gasp. I look up through Slades eyes to see Astrid standing there watching me. She watched me shift.
