Just as I was about to fall asleep, I get a mind link from my dear mother. 

“Sedy, come have breakfast with us all. Astrid is awake now.”

She’s awake! Well, I am glad that she survived okay but it is very soon. Too soon. I don’t want to face her and my brother together. I don’t want to see the hurt in her eyes. I know what I did was reprehensible. I did it for a reason though and I am going to stick by that reason. 

“Not now. I am not ready to face them.”

“It wasn’t a request. It was a command. We are in Seb’s kitchen.”

Well the queen has spoken so I guess I will go face them all. Dad was angry enough at me. I don’t want to see the disappointment in mom’s eyes too. Once dad gets here, it will be even worse. 

I walked into their room and was hit by not only her scent but the feeling in the room of awkwardness. I looked Astrid in the eye and it was like she was looking right through me. She didn’t seem to care that I was even there. I don’t want to admit it but it hurt. I wanted some kind of emotion. 

Seb looked like he was going to kill me. That I expected and didn’t want exactly. I wanted my brother to be back to normal. I know that will take a very long time to happen though. 

“Good morning everyone. I am sorry to intrude on breakfast but mom wanted me to be here.”

“Mom is too kind.” Yeah, Seb was really pissed with me. 

“It’s good that you came. I think we all need to talk about what happened.” I can’t believe that Astrid was the one to say that. I hope that she wasn’t getting her hopes up that I changed my mind about her. Her being here was going to have no change on my position. 

“Yes, We probably should talk through everything.” Ah yes, Dad is always the peace maker. I suppose it was his job for 40 years though. 

“Right, so I think you and Astrid should move out of the pack house so you can enjoy your time as newly mated couples do.” I thought I should get my opinion out there right away. 

“No.  You will not be forcing us out of the pack house. Your brother deserves to be here. He is also Alpha, after all. He will continue to do everything as he has. We will not be letting you push us out.”

Everyone in the room was absolutely shocked by what Astrid just said. She seemed so quiet and timid when I was eating with her on Friday and here she is laying down the law with me. 

“Yes, my mate is quite correct. We will not be leaving. You just need to get your feelings together and get over us being here. If you intend on marking Star then you will also stay here.”

“About that, your mother and I have decided to put some rules on the marking of your mate. You are to wait three months before marking Star. We want you to wait and be absolutely sure that you want her over Astrid. If you fail to wait the three months then your dad and I will be forced to take over your Alpha position or hand it over to Sebastian.”

“I am going to mark her. She is the best candidate to be Luna and you have no right to give me a deadline like that. I have been Alpha with Sebastian for three years now. We have done just fine.”

“Yes, you have. Together.” Dad gave me that “don’t question me boy” look. I knew not to talk back to him. “Star is the best option but I will wait your three months if you demand it.”

“We will see about that. I am stronger and wiser than you think that I am.” I was smiling ear to ear to hear Astrid say that. I hope that she was but it won’t make a bit of difference. She is human and the pack will know it sooner than later. 

“Well, I think everything is settled then. Shall we eat?” I need to rap this up and get out of her. 

Everyone started getting their plates ready. As everyone was distracted I decided to actually look Astrid over. Just to make sure that she was okay. She looked beautiful. Her cheeks were rose colored and she had a big smile on her face. Her hair was left down and slightly curly. She truly was pretty. 

I have to stop it. I need to keep my distance from her. I can’t fall for her any further than I already have. She is going to be my weakness and I know it. I need to stay clear of her. 

“Sed, do you want to play around before training?” Oh Star, you always know when to cut in. “If you all will excuse me, I am going to go get ready for training this morning.”

“On my way.”

I ran into her in the hallway. I threw her back up against the wall. She knew exactly wear to wrap her legs around my waist to get the perfect pressure point. My d**k was pushing right up against her underwear. She kissed me like she was trying to win me over. Oh baby, there is no question in my mind but I like your enthusiasm. 

I kissed her full lips urgently. I needed to feel something from her and surprisingly I did. I felt like I needed her right now. I carried her into my apartment and threw her onto my bed. She started undoing my pants and pulled them down. I sprung out towards her and ripped her pants right off. 

“Do you want it rough today, baby?”

“Yes.”

She didn’t need to say anything else. I slammed into her as hard as I possibly could. I continued my assault on her with her moans ringing out. There was no love in this. It was just pure frustration and she was loving every minute of it. I was huffing my way towards my finish and she was mewing. We finished together and was amazing. I haven’t had that much fun with her in a long time. 

Then I realized that I forgot to put a condom on. s**t. Now what?
