The Encounter

Sebastian-

“My love, I need to go conduct the training calls for soldiers. Will you be okay here by yourself?”

“She won’t be by herself. Your father and I here.”

 “Thanks mom! I hope that you guys have fun.” I am so glad that mom and dad supported us on everything. It would have been much harder if they hadn’t. 

I made my way down to the training field and decided to just ignore my i***t brother. I couldn’t ignore his w***e though. Why did she always have to be half dressed at the training grounds?

“Seb, why do you always look so grumpy? I could help you out with that you know.”

“It is Alpha to you Star.”

“Oh please, we know that it will be Luna Star soon.”

“Actually, no, not for me. I have found my fated mate. She is gorgeous and I have already marked her.” I loved seeing the look of pure anger and defeat on her face. It’s nice to see her be taken down a notch or two. 

“Excuse me? You found your fated mate?”

“Yes, I did. Did Sedrick not tell you that she was here?”

“It must have slipped his mind. We were having a lot of fun actually.”

“I don’t think that will last very long now. Astrid is hard to ignore. It won’t be long until you are thrown to the side and he picks his real mate.” At that, she pursed her lips and walked away. Good, maybe she won’t bother me anymore. I can’t take her nasty attitude anymore. 

Astrid-

“We could give you a tour if you would like of the pack house and grounds. If you are feeling up to it, of course!” Molly was so kind to offer to show me around. 

“I would really love that. It will be nice to get to know some of the pack and maybe make a friend or two.”

We started walking around the top floor, the alpha’s suites. Sedrick’s apartment was right across the hall from ours. Apparently, his was larger. That is where Molly, William, and Richard all lived while they were serving as Alphas’ and Luna. They wanted more children but it just never happened for them. I can tell that they are eagerly awaiting grandchildren though.

“When is William coming back? I would like to met him too.”

“He should arrive in two days. The boys sent him out for a meeting with a fellow Alpha. He has been at the Wolfmoon Pack trying to help sort a situation out for them.”

I nod my head as if I understand but, in reality, I have no clue what they even mean. I hope this gets easier as time goes on or it’s going to be extremely confusing all of the time. 

We head down to the third floor which appears to be for the beta’s families. They have only one beta at the moment but they can actually have two serve with them.  

The second floor is for single soldiers and warriors. They can chose to stay in the barracks or in the pack house until they find their mate or just want to move out. They pay a small rent and weekly food bill so that they can have all of their meals provided by the kitchen. I think that sounds like a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of. 

The first floor consists of the offices for all of the higher ups, two entertainment rooms, a ball room, a dining room, and a huge kitchen. It is massive and absolutely beautiful. It has more ovens and stove tops than I could even imagine. The herbs wall is just breath taking. I wanted to stop and read each label and look at everything. I can’t wait to bake some delicious desserts in here.

Weirdly, no one talked to me or looked at me. I felt like an outsider during the entire tour. I hope people argent mad at me. I don’t know what I have done to get so many stares. 

“Have I done something wrong? Why is everyone staring at me?”

“No darling, you have done nothing wrong. People just simply don’t know who you are. We don’t have humans here often. Ever really. They just feel uneasy because it is against the norm.”

“I see. I hope that changes soon. I am a friendly person and hate to know that I am not liked or wanted.”

“It will get better once Sebastian announces you to the pack. I assume that will happen very soon. We should probably start planning the celebration soon!”

“That sounds fun and intimidating all at the same time.”

  We continued our tour of the grounds. They have beautiful open fields all around the pack house. They are filled with soft grass. I am disappointed that there are no garden though. I understand that they need room for events and to do things in but there is easily enough room here to garden in.

We ended up getting in a golf cart and Richard drove us around all of the different neighborhoods. They really did have an entire town set up. There were even schools and a library. 

We happened to drive by a dirt road so I asked what was down there. 

“That is where some of the omegas live.”

“I would like to see it if I can.”

“Oh, sure, we can drive down there.”

I could tell that Richard did not want to take me down there but I wanted to see everything. I want to know how my future pack lives. 

I could not believe it. There were neat little rows of homes and trailers that were falling apart. They looked like they had been neglected for years. 

“Why are their houses so ran down and the other homes aren’t?”

“Well, omegas don’t make as much as the soldiers do. They can’t afford to live in the medium income homes. They also tend to have more children, making money even tighter.”

“And how much money do soldiers make?” I have to know. This seems completely wrong.

“Typically, they make around $45,000 a year. They are paid more since they eat more and have to train all year long.”

And how much do omegas make?”

“The last time I looked, it was around $ 28,000 a year. They do no physical training.”

“So the omegas are kept weak, fed less, and paid less because they do “less” work?”

“Yes, not everyone can be soldiers. We need people to be kitchen help and work around the grounds.”

“You consider that to be less work than training?” I can tell that I am making Richard mad but this is insane. Soldiers shouldn’t make that much more just because they train for six hours a day. What about the people who work for 8-12 hours straight?

“I don’t feel like this conversation needs to be continued right now. Perhaps, it is something to take up with your mate.”

That is true. Richard can not change anything as he is not acting Alpha right now. I will ask Seb about this tonight. I can’t have pack members starving and living in broken down homes. This is unacceptable. I am very disappointed in Molly, Richard, and William. They obviously knew that they have pack members living worse off than they should be. They did nothing to fix it. 

“We should get back to the house for lunch, I think.” Molly is right. It is lunchtime and I might be able to see Seb for a few minutes before he starts working. 

The drive back to the house was quiet. I didn’t mind though. It gave me a lot of time to think about everything I could do to help people who need it. I have a plan. I just need the okay and funds to do it. 

I parted ways with Molly and Richard as they headed to the dining room. I wanted to stop by Seb’s office to see him. 

I knocked and I heard the one voice that I wanted to avoid. Sedrick’s voice rang out and I entered the room slowly. 

“Is Sebastian here?”

“No, he had to take a meeting in town. Can I help you with something?”

“No, it’s not important.” I turned to go away but I had to look at him for a second. Something was telling me to look him in the eyes. God, those eyes were gorgeous. 

He swallowed slowly and I could tell that his breathing was shallow. I couldn’t help but lick my lips. I wanted to feel his rough calloused hands on my body again. I wanted to feel the heat of him up against me. 

He took a deep breath and his eyes turned black. 

“I can smell you, woman.”

Oh hell. That didn’t help. I am even wetter now. “I am sorry.”

He got up slowly and walked around his desk towards me. I took three steps back and hit the door. He was in front of me before I knew it. He pressed my back up agains the door and bent down so that his lips were just hovering over mine. 

I wanted nothing more than to taste his mouth. Feel his soft lips move against mine. I got my wish. His lips hit mine and I began to move my lips with his. He was so gentle and slow. He cupped my face with his left hand and his right slid down my side. 

I just wanted him to take me now. I shouldn’t feel this way. I hate him. He hurt me but he this feels so good. He used me so I can use him right?

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he slid his hand up my thigh. 

“I am going to do this quick and quietly.”

“Fine.”

He lifted my left leg up and wrapped my underwear at the crotch. I could feel his fingers slide against my opening. It made me gasp and want him more. I began to undo his pants and slide them down slightly.

I pulled his throbbing huge d**k out and began to stroke it as he slid his fingers into me. I was ready and waiting for him. This foreplay wasn’t necessary but I so enjoyed it. The faster his fingers moved in me the faster I stroked him. 

His moans were intoxicating. He was growling slightly and it just made me want him more. He slid one more finger in me and I felt him hit the right spots. If I could have thrown my head back, I would have. 

He has pounding his fingers into me and I was stroking and twisting him. We both looked into each other eye and released. I could feel his warm c*m shooting out onto my thighs as my orgasm took over. I dug my nails into his arm and bit his shoulder to quiet my moans. 

That was perfect and just what I needed. 

“Thank you, I will be on my way now. Enjoy the rest of your day.” I hope that he understood that this meant nothing to me. He wasn’t going to make me pine after him and compete for his love. 

“Don’t think that this changes anything between us. I am still with Star.”

There it was. “Oh, I have no need for this to change anything between us. If I am going to feel the mate pull, and my mate isn’t around, I may as well have fun.”

I walked out of the office and decided to go to the dining hall too. I need a bathroom first though. 

Sedrick- 

What the hell was that?! She used me for her own needs? I did not expect that. I thought for sure that I would see sadness on her face after I said that but she just looked at me with a smirk. It was like I had no effect on her. 

“You are making her resent you. Why would she feel any sort of love towards you after everything that you said to her?” Why did Blaze always have to make sense. 

“Well, I don’t know what she wanted me to say back. I guess it just meant nothing.” I have never been on this side of the relationship before. Normally, I was the one that used the girl for s****l release. Now, I am that person. 

“Way to go, i***t. I am glad that I got to feel mate though. She is so pretty.” Of course, he is a love sick puppy. 

“Don’t call me a puppy. I am not a puppy.”

The door was thrown open suddenly and it bounced off of the wall.

“What the hell, Star?!” What is her problem?

“Where is she? I can smell her all over this room.”

“I don’t know what you are talking about.”

“Your f*****g mate, Sedrick!! Were you just not going to tell me?”

Shit. How did she find out?

“Sebastian told me this morning at training. You found her over a week ago. Why didn’t you say anything? Are we done then?”

“I didn’t say anything because it doesn’t matter. You are my chosen mate and I am not going to pick her over you. She is a human and not fit to be Luna. You are. You are going to make a perfect Luna.”

“How am I going to be Luna when Seb has already taken a Luna? Are we both going to be Luna now? Plus, if you think that I will tolerate you sleeping with her, you are wrong.”

“I didn’t sleep with her this time.”

“This time? So you have slept with her. What was this time?”

“We just got each other off and she went on her way. It meant nothing. You know the mate pull can be strong. You are the one that means something to me. You know that!”

“Don’t let it happen again. I am serious. I won’t sit around and be cheated on or be the other woman.”
