I was a man on a mission. I was going to make this the quickest shower that I possibly could. I stepped into the water and it wasn’t even fully warm yet. I decide that I am just going to go get dinner. Food always makes me feel better and happier. I walked into the dining room and grabbed a plate. I love steak night. Nothing is better than a steak and baked potato.

I sat down to start eating and they walked into the dining room. She looked radiant. “I can smell it, just a little. I guess we will have to take a break from the bedroom for a few days.” I gave her a little wink to make her feel better. That made her smile and keep eating. 

Thank f*****g Goddess! I didn’t get her pregnant. That is one worry off of my mind. I didn’t want to have to deal with that. I don’t want to have kids yet. I am not ready. I have so much that I want to do still. 

I looked over at Astrid one more time and she was smiling ear to ear. She was so pretty when she was happy and in the moment. I could tell that she loved to talk to people and she was always fully present when they were talking. 

“You sound like a love sick puppy.” 

“Why don’t you go away, Blaze?” He always had to ruin the moment.
