“Man, why are we here? We don’t have any business prospects in Augusta and I hate golfing.” Eric has always had a way with words. 

“Alright, Don’t tell anyone but I found a girl that I need to f**k before marking Star. Just one last go, you know?”

“Oh, I get it man. Go have fun! I am going to hit this bar up down the street.”

This is why I brought Eric. He doesn’t give me any trouble and doesn’t question what I am doing. I know that my secret will be safe with him. I have a few minutes to get ready before I need to head out. I sent Seb a quick message and then cut my link. Star has been driving me crazy since I left and didn’t tell her that I would be gone all weekend. She acts like she mated to me already. It drives me crazy but I can put her in her place once we are mated. She doesn’t need to know everything about my life. 

I arrive at the restaurant and see that Astrid isn’t here yet. I decide to go grab us a table real quick while I wait. I am very annoyed that she is running late. If she couldn’t make the time that we agreed upon then she should have said something. 

Finally, she is here. I can see her get out of her car. That wonderful scent hits me again and I take a deep breath of it. I will always love that smell. She looks pretty good tonight. Hell, she looks beautiful. Too bad she isn’t slimmer or taller. I usher her into the restaurant and we sit down. Conversation seems to flow pretty well between us. I tell her about my business and my brother. She seems to really love that I have a large family. I hate to admit it but I am actually having a good time. She is nice to talk too. 

After dinner, I tell her that I will walk her to her car. She is eating this nice guy s**t up. I know she is putty in my hands. I go in for the kiss and she is ready. Goddess, her lips are heaven. I have never kissed anyone like this. I feel the mate sparks and just can’t stop. I need to go in for more. Before I know it, we are full on making out against her car like a couple of teens. I pull away and she is breathing hard. It’s time to make my move. 

“Do you want to come back to my hotel? We can just watch a movie if you’d like or continue this.” I make sure to brush her hair behind her ear so she can feel the sparks. 

“I think that would be lovely. Can I follow you there in my car?” “That sounds like a good plan.” Of course you can follow me in your car. Once I have had you, you will need to leave. This isn’t a permanent thing. “You are going to hurt her. Don’t do this. We have had an amazing time tonight with her. More conversation than you have ever had with Star. Plus, she wants a big family. She will be a perfect Luna. Don’t do this, Sedrick.” I can’t believe that Blaze just said that to me. He knows what the plan is. He knows that we are just here to get our fill and then leave. She can’t be a Luna. She isn’t good enough. 

“I will never talk to you again if you treat her like this. You can shift but I will never help you out again. You will be on your own.” 

“You wouldn’t do that to us. You would be just as miserable as I am.” 

“I will do it. She is my other half and you are going to hurt her.”

I can’t believe that he cut the link. I will not be bossed around like that by anyone. I am going to have a great night with her and then he will see what I mean.
