The last few weeks had been fairly quiet. Victor and I were great, the pack was busy getting ready for Christmas, and Samantha and I had become extremely close! I had managed to sort a desk for Victor's office, and I officially felt as though I belonged here. Our days were filled with paperwork and meetings, and we were in the process of buying up some real estate in the nearest city. We had been arranging to go there to finalise the setup, and I was excited to get away from the packhouse for a while with Victor. We hadn’t been able to spend much quality time together since I started getting more and more work through my door, but with guidance from both Victor and Ash, I was slowly getting the hang of it.
