My eyes opened to face my sleeping Luna. Last night, Rex and I had been fully satisfied, and the bond I shared with Elizabeth was stronger than before. It was as if I could feel the blood pumping through her body, feel her emotions; I had never experienced anything like this before. I couldn't help but smile at her. I grazed her cheeks with my fingertips and moved her blonde hair from her face. She slept so quietly and peacefully, I could almost swear she was purring. I mind-linked Ash about this morning’s pack rounds and asked him to meet Elizabeth and I in the communal dining hall for breakfast in half an hour.
"I want to attend my rounds with her. She needs to understand how the pack works and functions; and I know the others want to meet her properly."
