Ash P.O.V.
It's been a few weeks since we finally eradicated the Rogue King and that w***e of a shewolf, Nicki, and things seem to finally be settling down in the pack. All our enforcers have returned to the pack after being stationed elsewhere, and for once, in what seems like forever, there is peace. Nora and her new witch mate, Raven, have moved into my old residence on the first floor of the pack-house, while Esme and I have settled in a quiet house close by. After losing Samantha, I couldn't bring myself to be there anymore. It hurt too much.
It was an unexpected circumstance that some of the enforcers that had come to our pack on the night of the siege had found mates within our pack, and so followed days and weeks of rejigging our pack members, but it was medicine for the heart. T
