Meeting the children had been the highlight of my morning, next to waking up in Victor’s arms! We had walked hand in hand the whole way around the village while meeting and greeting all the residents. We had slowly made our way to the training ground and addressed the warriors, and I spoke with Ash briefly about my ongoing training. It seemed Victor was intent on having me prepared for anything. We had just left to visit the nearby harvest fields when I noticed a goddess-awful red head striding towards me. I couldn’t hold back my growl, but Victor had his hands around my waist within a second, calming me. As she approached, I could have sworn I saw her smirk, but she quickly glanced at me with sorrowful eyes.
“Luna. Alpha”
