"Push, Samantha! You have to push!" I gripped Sam's hand as she tried squeezing all the blood from my fingertips. The nurses faffed and fluttered around us as Sam squatted over a birthing ball. Sam had been in labour for a while now, and we were moments away from finally meeting our pup. The pregnancy had been difficult over the last few weeks; She had been so tired and I was scared to leave her alone for too long while I had to deal with pack business.
