"What will you do if I'm the one who murdered your so-called father? Will you pull the trigger and shoot me in the head? I guess, you can't."

"Because you're not strong enough to kill me, Sierra, and I know why. Your heart belongs to me, and it can't betray me..." he smirked.

Those words pierce her heart because, after discovering the true purpose of their contract, Sierra Rodriguez has only one goal: to serve justice for her deceased father after knowing Brandon was responsible for his death.

Her world was turned upside down when she discovered who she truly was and why Brandon chose her to be his wife. Now that their lives were in each other's hands, Sierra's desire to win his heart had turned into a desire to kill him.

What if she discovered she was Brando's main rival's missing daughter and heiress?

Will it become a new avenue for Sierra to fulfill her deepest desire to murder him? But what if she finds out she's pregnant with Brandon's child and the revelations in her life aren't over?

Chapter 1
PROLOGUE~ Sierra's POV "Hello? Is this Sierra Rodriguez?" "Yes, why?" "I'm calling from the hospital." "Why? What happened?" "Your brother. He was found lifeless outside and I believe he was kidnapped, and beaten up. You have to come here as soon as possible before it's too late." I got that call in the middle of my workday, and since I'm the only family he has, I headed straight to the hospital. Because whoever heard that call couldn't think about themselves, I didn't even have time to change out of my business clothes. However, I do receive a face criticism from the public. I didn't give a d*mn about how they were disgustedly staring at me. Finding my brother and getting some positive news are the only things that matter. I went up to the nurses and enquired about the location of my brother. Thankfully, a sympathetic nurse responded to my query without showing distaste. "Thank you so much, but how can I know whether my brother is okay?" "By the way, who's your brother?" "Francis Rodriguez, that's the name of my brother," I said. "Oh, the young man we discovered in front of the hospital, is he your sibling?" I nodded and said, "Yes, that's him. Where is he? "As far as I know, he had a head injury and many injuries when he was taken to the emergency room. You can wait in the waiting area until the attending physician arrives. "Again, thank you." I shouldn't have trusted our surroundings, especially since my mom's creditors are pursuing us until we can pay her balance. Francis is the only family I have, and letting him die is the most irresponsible thing I did as his sister. As she abandoned us with nothing, that is not my concern. I was given food, clothing, shelter, and even sold to unidentified individuals several times. As the oldest daughter, I have to give up my aspirations and take a job I'd never considered taking because my mom did that to pay off her debt. But I have no other option. I was a prisoner of my own life since my mother was negligent and let us suffer; I believed she would sacrifice anything for her child, but I was mistaken. She is not the kind of mother I would like to have. Someone asked, "Coat?" I quickly brushed away my tears and turned to the person sitting next to me. I think the man who is handing me a black coat is a stranger who couldn't take seeing a woman like me. I have long red hand gloves on, red boots, and red underwear on. "What?" I clarify, wanting to make sure I understood what was said. I turned to look behind him and noticed a group of nurses huddling together and talking, "Take my coat. Everyone is staring at you," He added. I say "thanks" and take the coat to conceal myself. He gave me a handkerchief and sat down next to me without caring what I was wearing. I'll take it. "I apologize for inquiring about private matters, but when I saw you from a distance, a part of me wanted to join you and find out what was wrong." Even though he's a stranger, I have a feeling he's the right person to talk to about my problems. He didn't know who I was or what my name was, so I figured it was fine to tell a random man about my problem. Because of the unexpected news from the doctor, my chest felt heavy. "Well, it may sound crazy, but I have a brother, he's 13 or 14 years old, and I'm the only one he relies on in this kind of situation; you see, I work so hard just to give him the life I never had, but those heartless guys beat my brother to death." "They kidnapped him and beat him up; fortunately, those doctors found him outside and were able to save him; but I still hope he's fine." "So he's in the emergency room?" "Yes, he is," I replied with a nod. "Do you know why they did that to him?" he inquired. "I have, but only to myself." "Do you ever consider exacting revenge, Sierra?" That question drew my attention not because he asked about vengeance, but because he knew my name. How did he know what my name was? "How did you know my name? I didn't tell you my name earlier, as far as I know." "I know who you are and who beat your brother, which is why I am here to offer you." "What offer?" I inquired, puzzled. "Become my wife, and I'll give you everything. The things you never wanted to talk about, you don't even need to work in that club and pay your mom's debt. What'd you think?" He asked, as if it were a normal question. I quickly got up and stared at him since I sensed he was playing a joke on me. "Whoever you are, I don't need your money. My brother can live without it, regardless of how wealthy you are or whether you are the son of this city president." The doctors left the emergency room shortly after the door opened. They come over to me right away as though they already know I'm the guardian. "Are you Ms. Rodriguez?" the doctor questioned. I said, nodding, "How's my brother doing?" "Although we were able to preserve his life, we discovered something in your brother." I cried out, "What is it?" The doctor and nurse exchanged glances before turning to face me. I have a feeling they have some bad news to share and don't want to hear it. "Tell me, Doc, what's the matter?" "Have you noticed anything strange about your brother in the last few weeks, maybe months?" "No, except for his uncontrollable weight loss," I shook my head. "I see; your brother has leukemia and is in poor health; we offer him a place to stay until he improves." "Was it treatable?" "At the moment, there is no cure for leukemia; only our technology and medicine can extend his life."" "How much can it possibly cost?" "We estimated between $50,000 and $60,000." I don't have that kind of money, so I can't help my brother. I clench my fist tight because my brother became ill without my knowledge, proving how responsible I am. "We'll get a room for her brother," the young man said, drawing my attention to him. "No, I can't afford it." "I'll do it, Sierra." "In that case, we'll transfer your brother to a more comfortable room, and we'll give you privacy to talk in the meantime." My gaze remained fixed on the doctor as he walked away. "Why are you trying to help me?" I asked when we were alone. "I've already told you, Sierra, that if you become my wife, I'll grant you everything you need, especially in this situation; just name your price." Is this man inebriated? "Why?" I asked, because I'm too speechless to say anything else. "My wife is gone, and I need a substitute wife to cover her unexpected absence; you must act like my wife, and I will compensate you." Consider Sierra. For your brother... If you can't save him, this man will. He can also give you the life you've always wanted. Okay, I finally made a decision. This is not for me, but for my brother. "Tell me more," I muttered, taking a deep breath.
