Prologue There he was. I knew him but I also didn’t know him. He stood in what looked like a city that had been forgotten for some time, everywhere was green from top to bottom. Where did I know this boy from? I couldn’t even see his face but I still felt like I knew him from somewhere.He seemed so familiar yet not. He was close and yet he wasn’t and like that he began to leave just like the wind. “Hey wait!” I tried to call to him, I was unsure if he wasn’t hearing or was just flatly ignoring me but I didn’t care. I really wanted to know who this boy was.”Wait come back!” I yelled but no matter what I did, he still vanished into thin air. For some reason, I felt sad and angry but mostly sad. What would I do now? Why was I feeling like this?... I woke up sweating with tears flowing freely from my eyes.   ***** Chapter 1:How It All Started “Ria! Ria!! Wake up else you’ll be late for school today.” My father called to me from downstairs.I had woken up but didn’t quite still understand why I was crying and who that boy was. I’ve been having that same dream for a while now five days to be exact. Wait could it be I’ve started getting interested in younger guys! I thought. No way! it couldn’t be right. I had to use my two hands and gave myself a light slap on my cheeks “Ria don’t get distracted after all you’re fifteen now.” I told myself “Ria! get up.” Dad screamed again. “I’m up dad and I’ll be down in a minute.” I replied. I said my prayers and took a shower then left my room and came downstairs. My dad was already ready, he was wearing his suit again. “Alright here.” dad gave me my lunchbox. “Daaad,” I complained “I can do this myself.” Dad didn’t respond just turned and went into the car as if to prove that we were already late. I locked the door behind me and went into the car.”I hope you didn’t forget anything.” my dad asked. “No. didn’t.” I said matter of factly “Good.” He responded. After a certain incident,my dad started dropping me off at school no matter how late he was. ***** “Ria, this is the fourth time you’ve woken up late this week is anything wrong?” Dad asked as we were driving getting close to the highway. “No dad I’m fine there’s nothing to worry about.” “Are you sure?” he asked still looking worried. “Yeah sure as anything.” I said giving him a smile. I couldn’t possibly tell him about the dreams, it’ll make him worry. “Alright but if you ever want to talk I’m right here ok?” “Ok dad.” I replied. My dad’s name was George Saito as you guessed, he was born and raised in America he later came home and married my mum. Dad sad she died giving birth to me I never knew her not even my grandparents. Apparently, they didn’t want to see me since mum died maybe they felt that I was the cause of her death. They even told dad to leave me in the hospital but he refused so they cut ties with him I’ve only had him since. “Dad are you sure you’re not late for work?” “No don’t worry.”he replied. Even if he was late he wouldn’t tell me. ***** We finally got to school and dad got down to open the door for me “Don’t worry dad I can get it myself.” but he just ignored me and opened it anyway. The truth is I don’t like Dad coming to my school because of how nearly every female teacher looks at him with oogling eyes one even asked me to get his number for her. Ugggh!. “Stay safe, I’ll be coming home late today so I want you to leave the school with Sakura and Noraba you are not on any reason to go home alone got that?” Dad said with a strict face. “Yes Dad.” I mummured. Well you remember that [incident] I mentioned before? Well you see, I’ve gotten lost before and for 2 days everyone was looking for me. Every one says I was kidnapped but I don’t feel so. Dad kissed me on the forehead, entered the car and drove off. Before I would get the chance to think of something else, I heard my name. “Hey Ria, good morning.” “Hey Suzune, morning.” I replied. “You’re just coming right?, I just got here too why don’t we head inside the class were not too early you know.”She said smiling. “You’re right.” I muttered. So we started to head to class together. Suzune was one of the most popular girls in our class. She had dark blue hair and a light personality. Personally speaking, I found her easy to read. And on top of being in the most popular in class, She was part of the students council which added fuel to the fire but I didn’t know why she always spoke to me. Could it be because we were sitting next to each other? No if it was, then she would be talking to Hanabi too but she wasn’t. ***** School was over and it was time to start getting home. I had to look for my only two friends in the entire school. Sakura and Nobara. Sakura was in class B and Nobara in C so I had to get there. I met Sakura and we both went to meet Nobara in her class. “Ugggh! What is wrong with this girl” Sakura spoke looking angry. “What is it?” i asked. I couldn’t go in because I held our bags. “Well, it looks like Nobara had gotten into a little problem with the teachers and she had to stay behind.” Sakura said still looking feasibly angry.”it should most likely be the last week’s project she hadn’t submit” she continued. “Well guess we have to wait then” We left and stayed at the teachers office in which Nobara Was taking her test. I had no other choice. Dad strictly told me to come home with my two friends and coming home without them would mean getting grounded(and yes it was that serious) and is also wanted to spend some time with my friends. The last time I walked home with them was a long time ago. Dad always came to pick me up so this was a one-time chance I couldn’t lose. We waited for what seemed like an eternity ,Nobara came out “Guys I’m so sorry for taking so long.” she muttered looking visibly happy we waited for her. “ouuch what was that for?” Nobara asked Sakura who had hit her with her mathmatical set. “Next time do your projects when I tell you to.” Sakura said probably still irritated on how long she waited. “I’m Sowey Sakura."Nobara said sobbing “Come on it’s ok let’s go home but I hope you did well on it?” “Of course.” We started walking towards the school gate “Wow that’s so great. You know i actually thought you would end up sad and alone like Ramen without a cup to hold it in.” Sakura remarked after I finished explaining the constant dreams I’ve been having. “Guys this is serious.” I complained. “Yeah and so is Sakura’s love for food.”Nobara remarked. “I do not love food.” Sakura had to reply. “Sure you do.” “I said I do not.” “Then why do you always use food as a similie?” “ouch.” Nobara got hit on the head again. “Ugh.” I sighed.” They had started their usual bickering. “But really Ria, if it really bothers you I could take you to a dream reader and they could tell you the meaning I mean who knows, maybe the universe is trying to tell you something.”Sakura said feeling good of herself but Nobara had to take her out. “Umm Sakura, you do know it’s called an oneirologist right?, Don’t tell me you were so dumb that-“ “Ouch.” she got smacked again Sakura and Nobara were my first and only friends. Sakura was a beautiful girl with light pink hair and curvy skin she could definitely make it as a model but the only thing not so beautiful about her is the way she eats. As for Nobara she wasn’t as beautiful as Sakura but she was definitely still beautiful. After all, she had blue hair. it’s only that she’s a bit shy around people but surprisingly she wasn’t like that with us. “So Ria, have you opened your presents yet?”Nobara asked “No I haven’t.” I replied. “I and Sakura got something good just for you.” and with that they brought out a necklace and handed to me “guys just how much was this” I asked concerned. Yeah I agree that yesterday was my birthday and they both couldn’t attend because I and dad had gone out.He was always busy with work but he took the day off on that day to spend it with me. I couldn’t take anyone with me cause it was father-daughter bonding moment you know.And we also came back late so we couldn’t do a party but this was a bit extreme it looks so expensive. “Don’t worry about the price we just wanted you to have a nice Birthday you know.”Sakura replied and we hugged. “What would you guys like on your birthday” I asked they both replied “matching outfits” like they planned it. “It’s settled then, on your birthday’s I’ll get you both matching outfits that we can all wear” “YAY” they both muttered. “But I would also like Chocolate.” Sakura spoke excited. “Alright.” I replied. She definitely loves food but I didn’t get them something really good last year. I’ll have to try better this year as I was thinking of which styles of clothes to wear when a familiar voice snapped me back to reality. “Oh you’re still here.” it was Suzune. “Um, hey Suzune” Nobara waved her hand at Suzune. “Yeah we were leaving now,you?” I said. “Student council stuff, wait I have an idea why don’t we go together I don’t really want to go alone do you guys say?” No.” Sakura replied coldly. “No wait Suzune, we’ll be honored for you to join us.” I said rather rapidly. "Wait what are you doing Ria? it’s clear that this girl wants to get close to you for some reason she’s trying to steal you from us. After all, both of you are in class A you go to class together and now you want to go home together?” Sakura whispered. “It’s only you who thinks like that, come on Sakura please…” I replied. “I’m sorry for what I said earlier, I was wrong please come with us” Sakura apologized and bowed her hair to Suzune, but I could see her face from his angle and she was angry. “Are you sure?, What of you Nobara-chan.” “Umm…..it’s ok.” Nobara had become her shy self again. “Alright let’s go.” I had to say It because it was getting dark but still I wonder what Suzune really wanted from me. “Ria have you thought about joining the students council we could use one more person.” “No I haven’t.” “You should think about it.After all we could use someone like you.” “I will.” Now I understand why she was always hooked to me. She wanted me to join or support the students council because I was well off. ‘Hmm' I guess she just wants supporters around her and if not for that [incident] I might’ve been like her. To our surprise we saw a huge trailer heading straight for Sakura. I had to summon my strength and stop it with my two hands. “Whaaat!” Sakura shouted “how did you do that?”she continued Sakura came close to me and whispered in my ear ”See I told you she shouldn’t come.” I ignored Sakura who forgot that she would’ve nearly died and faced Suzune. “Well I’ve always been strong right from when I was little” “That’s huge monstrous strength" she remarked smiling and observing my arms which looked like any other girls. “Yeah.” I said blushing. To be frank no one knew about my superhuman strength or agility except my dad and two friends Sakura and Nobara.The thing is that i had been told to keep it a secret but I guess Suzune would be ok if she didn’t tell anyone. “Please tell me you will keep this a secret.” I cautioned. “Of course I won’t.” She said smiling “no one would ever want to date a human gorilla” she jokingly continued. We all started laughing hysterically. But I wasn’t that strong, I just had like twice the strength of someone my age that’s all. Then it happened, we saw something or rather someone that changed everything and it …He made us stop right on our tracks. He was wearing a red kasa and was also wearing a mask so we couldn’t see the face, he also wore a long red robe.He was right in front of us but it still I felt as if he wasn’t there a moment ago and just appeared out of nowhere and I could see the rest of my friends visibly shaking and I knew why it was because there was this energy he was emmitting. “I knew the Ryuu would be amongst you three it’s good I still tested my theory and send that truck towards you. We froze. “Just who are you?” I managed to ask. Then he said these exact words “I am known as RED of the X. Now,which of you is the Ryuu?”
