I bent low to pick the white envelope and opened the door to see if anyone was home, my Mum and Dad were definitely out for work which didn't make sense on who would slip this, after confirming that there's no one in the house, my hands shook and I opened the envelope.
A little note was written inside and my whole body froze at the contents inside.
‘I know what you are , stay away from Kade and his daughter!’
I gasped and stumbled backwards, rushing to check the windows to see if I could get a glimpse or a shadow but there was nothing.
