I stared at the text on my phone like it was poison about to infect me and thought of where she got the audacity from and decided to use it on me. Firstly, she disappeared on me leaving me to look like a fool after trying to help her and now she's telling me she's going to resign?
I tapped my feet impatiently as I stood beside the window with the cigarette in my mouth and watched her step down from the car to enter inside. The moment she walked into the living room, she froze at my sight but quickly looked away to meet Valencia who was sitting down and waiting for her eagerly.
