Kristine was right. What would we do if they found her? Would we be able to ignore everything she had done and accept her into the pack again? “I do not know,” I replied to her quietly. “We cannot have her back in the pack,” Connor stated angrily. Kristine tensed beside me, and I knew she was struggling with how she felt.
“Then why are we chasing her?” she asked, looking at me and then Connor. Connor’s jaw tightened, “Mike wants his sister, we are tracking her for him,” he replied. “He should have let her go,” Seth growled. “And then what? He cannot focus on taking over your pack, and you think you won?” I responded with a smirk.
