** Prince Liam’s POV **

“I’ve set up accommodations for tomorrow with the Silver Lunar Pack your highness right outside of Portland “ Dante says as he storms into the main sitting room of our hotel where Alec, Nadine and I are all lounging on the sofas watching the local news report. He is such an egotistical asshole.

“Just say the word Liam I’ll take care of the piece of shit.” Zeus growls and I know he would enjoy it. He’s wanted nothing more since finding out how the Alpha allowed his mate and pack members to hurt and terrorize our “Anima Gemela”

“Not yet Zeus. His time will come.” I say to him. I glance over at Dante who’s waiting impatiently to be excused so I take my time. I hold up my finger telling him to hang on so I can listen to the reporter explain the mating habits of squirrels and how vital they are to the local area. After the 5 minute report I drop my hand.

“We leave at dawn.” I tell him not even bothering to look at him.

“Yes your highness.” Dante says and storms out slamming the door. I laugh

“You sure seem to enjoy making sure he knows his place my dear brother.” Alec says chuckling.

“It’s the only way I stop Zeus from losing control and tearing the smug asshole apart before doing the same to his lil bitch.” I reply. “At least until we locate my Anima Gemella and then he’s going to wish I was just reminding him of his place”

I am exhausted so I say good night and go into my bedroom locking the door. I quickly change into my sweats and get into bed.

“She’s close Liam can’t you feel her?” Zeus asks me and I do feel her I know she’s close. I can’t wait until she’s in my arms where I can guarantee no one will hurt her again.

** RING RING**

Im almost asleep when my cell phone rings and I jerk awake. This can’t be good I think as I grab my phone and accept the call.

“Hello mother to what do I owe this last night call?” I say.

“Hello Liam are you coming home now? I’ve permitted this foolishness for long enough.” She replies.

“Foolishness locating my Anima Gemella is foolishness?” I ask

“Liam you may be grown but I am still your mother and it’s time for you to return home to where your fiancée is waiting to plan your wedding patiently. You need to fulfill your obligations.” She says

“It’s sad you see marriage as an obligation mother. I have no obligation to Cecily. We were never together let alone did I propose. No matter what she has told you. “ I tell her leaving no room to argue. “Now I will return home when I find my soul mate and only then.”

My mom is silent.

“Now it’s late goodnight mother.” I say and end the call.. I’m furious that Cecily has lied to say we’re engaged. How dare she? I finally manage to fall asleep dreaming of my Leah.

After riding in the limo all day with my over affectionate brother and sister in law I felt Zeus getting excited when we passed the welcome to Portland sign. This was new, in the past few months we’d visited quite a few packs in our search but he’d never gotten excited. Hopeful yea but this felt more as if he knew we were about to see her. I pushed the thought away and we followed Dante’s driver turning onto a well used dirt road. There were wolves walking up and down the road since it was nice outside. Then as we passed a woman and her mate I caught her expression of terror and watched through the back window as her mate held her. She wasn’t surprised she was scared. Why?

The car stops and I look out the windshield and grin at Alec who has the same grin. We wait as Dante exits his car followed by his mate and approaches the pack house. I see the alpha waiting for him and grin as I watch as my old friend speaks with Dante before my door is opened and I step out of the limo with a grin which quickly turns to a beam as I catch sight of the most gorgeous face peeking out a third story window.

“It’s her. It’s our mate she’s here.” Zeus howls but as I look into her gorgeous eyes I know she’s nervous because of Dante. I smile at her and place my finger to my lips to which she flashed me a incredible smile. I turned to my friend and walked over.

“Is there a problem Dante?” I asked

“Of course not your highness it’s just none of the crew can sense her presence at all your majesty I think we should continue on to the next pack.” Dante explains “I know you don’t want to waste any time.” I glare at him for a few moments trying to figure out if he does sense Leah and doesn’t want me to find her or if he is being honest. I smirk.

“Perhaps you’re right. Why don’t you take your people and head to the next pack while I visit with my old friend Alpha Jacob.” I say.

“Please join us for dinner Liam it’s been ages since we saw one another.” Jacob says

“We’d love to.” Alec replies and Dante’s mate takes the opening quickly pulling him to their car and they drive off. I look at two of the Omegas.

“Follow him make sure he leaves the state.” I say they agree and shift to their wolves before disappearing into the woods.

“Come Liam it appears we have much to discuss.” Jacob says and we follow him into his office with Zeus going crazy as we smell Leah’s incredible scent everywhere. Once just the two of us are in his office he smiles at me. “It’s you. You’re her one.” I laugh knowing he’s not asking.

“Yes she’s my Anima Gemella and I’ve been trying to find her for months.” I answer.

“ He’s the reason your eyes changed Leah. When a Lycan finds his or her Anima Gemella or soul mate they transform into a Lycan. You’ve started your transformation.” Jacob says smiling at his office door and my heart speeds up as I stand up.

“MATE MATE MATE” Zeus howls happily as I turn around and have to catch my breath as I lock eyes with her finally. We walk towards one another.

“MATE.” I growl

“MATE” she growls before she jumps into my arms with her legs around my waist and kisses me. She tastes incredible. We pull back and I rest my forehead against hers.

“ I’ve searched for you for months Leah.” I tell her and she smiles . “I found you finally.”

“ it seems the two of you have quite a bit to discuss. How about you head over to cabin 7 it’ll give you privacy.” Jacob says and hands me a set of keys. “Don’t worry about dinner tonight unless you’d like to join us.” I gently place Leah on her feet and take her hand in mine not wanting to let her go. She appears to feel the same way. We head to the cabin on foot and as we walk we talk. She tells me she’s about to graduate with her degree and has been interning with the pack doctor. She’s truly incredible.

The cabin is at the far west boundary of The Silver Lunars territory on the beach. It’s steps away from the shore and probably one of the most serene and beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We unlock the cabin and step inside. Just like the pack house the cabin is bright with the natural light coming in the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. In the open main floor there is a sitting area with a sectional and entertainment center plus a small kitchen and eating area. The stairs to the second floor are natural wood and the bedroom and bathroom are up above looking onto the main floor. It’s beautiful. I lead Leah to the couch where I sit down and open my arms leaving the decision up to her. To my delight she sits in my lap with no reluctance and I wrap my arms around her. We snuggle up.

“I didn’t know you were the reason Dante was looking for me.” Leah says. “I’m sorry”

“You have nothing to be sorry for. I had no idea until I was leaving after the ceremony was postponed and caught your scent by the car.” I say

“I caught yours there and would of stayed but security saw us and I had to run. They chased us until I shifted in the woods.” She tells me and it makes me question something I’ve tried to figure out since that night.

“Leah I know you and Dante were in love until he found his mate, in fact I am aware of everything you went through since that night until you escaped. What bothers me is Dante seems to feel you belong to him.” I say gently.

“We’ll he’s an i***t I belong to you.” She says and I kiss her passionately.

“I belong to you also my love.” I tell her.

“Wait you said Dante postponed the ceremonies. That was before you sensed me?” Leah asks.

“Yes in fact he postponed it when one of the security told him they’d lost you.” I reply and I watch as it becomes clear to both of us. “He wasn’t going to let you go.”

“Which is why he had security try to catch us.” Leah says “And why he has searched for me he just used you as a excuse.”

Leah starts to shiver and I pull her closer. “Leah I won’t let him touch you.” I say into her hair. “Now that you’re mine he won’t get close.”

This incredible woman in my arms makes me feel so much love that I never expected to feel. She makes me feel complete. Leah moves so she’s straddling my legs and kisses me passionately as her hands slide under my shirt and she explores my chest and abs.
