Chapter one : you're hurting me
I struggled to breath, my life flashing before my eyes was the man I married increased, the force around my neck "George... you are hurting me" I managed to say .my veins felt like they were about to bust live I was going to die in the next second. "How dare you question my mother ,who gave you the right to do so" George said with fury. Olivia however couldn't say a word she struggled to remove Georg's hand from around her neck but he was too strong. Just when she felt she couldn't take it any longer his phone rang. The caller ID made him remove his hands and picked the call. Olivia fell to the ground gasping for breath, her face purple. Tears fell down from her eyes. how did she end up marrying a monster. “fix you self, we are having business guest, make the meals yourself" he said "It is not like I enjoy hurting you, I just want to teach you how to be a perfect wife for me, a respectful woman when presented in the public" he crouched down and raised her face staring into his eyes Olivia felt like she could rip them out. She lowered her eyes. "Be a good girl and everything will be fine" he said to me "I love you" he kissed her on her forehead and went out Olivia just sat there crying, having no one to comfort her. "Have you dealt with that stubborn wife of yours?" Matilda asked her son. "Yes mum, everything has been put in place," Matilda smiled. "I like the effrontery she has to ask why I change the meal menu" she ranted. “ I told you not to marry her they are leeches they suck you dry then leave you”. Maltida told her son. "I've heard you mum, that's why I, have you here to put everything in order" George said kissing his mom on the cheek "I'm going out now some of my business associates are coming over and they'll be having lunch I have told olivia to cook so please supervise and make sure it is well prepared" George stood and left the house Matilda smiled and the opportunity to taunt that little woman till she decides to loading Olivia looked at her reflection in the mirror. The red marks on her neck made her think back the memories over and over again. She picked a foundation that matched her skin tone and began applying it on her neck before she went downstairs. She knew she had to be fast before George came back. Olivia went straight to the kitchen bringing ingredients out. There were maids and chefs in the house but George said he loved my cooking. He doesn't eat stale food, he's actually very picky. "you stop whatever you're doing and make me something to eat" matilda said "But mum I just" _Smack_ She slapped olivia on the face how many times have I told you not to call me mummy I can never give birth to a poor wretched thing like you" matilda said with spite. "Now make me some fruit pudding before you start anything!!" She stormed out. Olivia just stood there when will all this end She just couldn't bear this torture. She wiped her face and began to cook. She couldn't offend George. She made the fruit pudding and over went Served it and took it to the dining room. "Madam, your meal is ready," Olivia said. Matilda got up and went to the dining Olivia dragged out a chair for her. She sat down like a queen. she took a bite of the porridge and spat it out. What in the world is this? Are you trying to poison me? She yelled "what's wrong with it?" Olivia asked "what's wrong with it? You're literally asking what's wrong with it , taste it," Matilda said. As she was stretching her hand to pick the Spoon Matilda grabbed the bowl of porridge and poured it on her hand olivia screamed in pain "next time you'll prepare it properly clean this mess" She wiped her mouth and left the dining . the maids looked at her helplessly they wouldn't dare help her or they'll get fired immediately. Olivia carried the bowl with one hand into the kitchen. She went to the sink and turned on the tap and placed her hand under it was painful but at last soothing. She went up to get the first aid box and applied ointment on the hand. It stunted her badly but she held in the feeling of screaming bearing the pain luckily she had removed her hands quickly otherwise it would have been worse. She went back to the kitchen to resume cooking "ma can we help you Ella" said "mrs matilda just left the house so it's all clear" the other maids nodded "ok but we have to be fast don't want any of you getting into trouble" Olivia said handing out task to them by noon they were almost done the sound of the car driving into the parking lot made them all disperse.Thank you" she muttered, they nodded and went to their rooms dusty past. "Welcome Sir" Mrs Ford greeted. She was the head housekeeper "Where's my wife "he asked Mrs Ford , he ignored the greetings and handed her his bag. "She's in the kitchen" Mrs Ford replied he stormed into the kitchen "what are you still doing here" his voice startled her "You’re back" she said. "I’m done just making sure everything is ok" she said . Go upstairs and prepare now the guest will arrive soon" he commanded. "Let me just wrap up" she placed the food in big lolita Serving dishes.
