Haddy promises to look further into Temryava and contact me when she’s found something. As Elias and I leave the house, the uneasy feeling inside me persists. I see Elias looking at me from the corner of his eyes, glimpsing at my fidgeting hands and I know I look worried, but I can’t pretend I’m not right now. “It’ll be okay.” He glances over his shoulder, giving me a reassuring smile, but I can see it in his eyes – he’s worried, too.
