My body buzzed, and all my senses seemed hyper as I moved around. I've always had heightened senses due to my wolf, but this was different. I felt energized, and I sensed not only the transformation into the Lycan but a new foreign power flowing throughout me.
The bed I was on was plush and nothing like the couch in the cave. Did they move me?
I could not sense my mate anywhere nearby, causing a brief panic, but I was also most likely asleep for a long period. I could not expect her to remain at my side the whole time.
I sighed as I allowed my eyes to open and fully take in my surroundings.
