Increased security was placed on the palace, and I insisted a guard follow Celia when I could not be around her or the pups for extra protection.
The kingdom was now well prepared to go to war against Alpha Samuel. Alpha Xander and his warriors have been gathering intel on Alpha Samuel’s pack and the vampires that have been attacking. It was clear they had another pureblood vampire working with them, but we still have not been able to locate them.
Stella worked tirelessly, trying to find a way to reverse the compulsion on Emery and trace the source. Phoenix, Emery, and Scarlett remained in a cell, but they were well cared for, and Alpha Xander visited them whenever he could. It was clear Phoenix was being used and had no intention of assisting in the attack.
