When we entered the kingdom, we were tested with a new potion Stella created to detect compulsion. It was mid-morning, and the only thing on my mind was checking on my mate in her cell.
"Clear," the guards said as they allowed us in, and I ran towards the palace.
I hated seeing her locked up, even if it was for the safety of everyone. I just wanted to hold my mate in my arms. The moment I entered the palace, I ran towards the stairs that led to the dungeon, but as I got close, I heard my mate's laugh, followed by Jordan's antics.
