The Blind Luna

chapter 2

Kinsley

"Look at me ," he commands me.

His voice isn't like anything I have ever heard. It's deep and smooth . His voice instantly calms me .

I squeeze the hems of my dress in fear because I don't know what to do .If I lift my head . He will soon discover that I'm blind and he punish me on the spot . I can already feel beads of sweat form on my forehead as I contemplate on what to do .How do you look at someone where you have no sense of sight?

"Look at me,"he commands me in his alpha tone this time .

I instantly lift my head up in fear. I don't know where the direction of his head is or how tall he is but I just look at the source of his voice .

"I won't ask twice, "he growls in a low husky voice. I instantly flinch as I try not to hide my fear but it's hard when his voice makes my whole body shiver as I think of my next action .

"Alpha Roman ,forgive me for the disrespect this girl-"

"Shut up!"The voice snaps and Alpha Leo keeps quiet immediately. "You will not disrespect my mate in my presence. "

Everyone gasps instantly at the word Mate .Did he just call me mate ? No I can't believe it ! There's no way Alpha Roman can be my mate . I don't know much about mates but the only thing I know is a fated mate is a like soul mate to each wolf .This is one of the greatest gifts the Moon goddess gave to us werewolves.

I can't sense my mate because I have no wolf to guide me but he is able to sense me as his mate . There's no way I can be mated to alpha Roman .He is so powerful and strong ..there's no way someone weak like me can not be mated to him.

"Now little mate, " his deep voice reverberates.

Tiny sparks tingle on my skin as his hand touches my chin .He gently lifts my chin up and I muster the courage to not fall .This is the point where he will know that I'm blind.

"Alpha Roman please forgive me ," Alpha Leo interrupts again ,"you have to understand that this young she wolf is blind and wolfless .she is an omega."

I squeeze my eye shut waiting for a slap or a punch .I'm so worthless I don't think deserve any kind of happiness. I wait for him to reject him .

"I see, "he answers coldly and steps away from me instantly.

The loss of contact makes my heart shatter as I think of the coldness I already feel .I never thought the mate bond was so strong .

"I'm giving you four hours to pack your things immediately and even better if you can do it within an hour," he continues.

I nod my head in submission afraid to speak out of fear .I don't know him and I don't know what he might be capable of .I have been taught to never speak until I'm allowed to speak.

"Alpha Leo I will not forgive you for the disrespect you have shown to my mate !" He growls lowly and i can tell that Alpha Leo is not happy with the statement.

"What?!"he stutters in response and shock.

"I'm not signing any treaty with you and I don't care ,"Alpha Roman replies coldly.

"You can't do this because of that little brat !" Alpha Leo snarls and I jump back at the tone of his voice.

"If you spit another word one more time .I will rip your insides out and feed it to the rogues outside, "

The whole room gasps in fear and Alpha Leo keeps quiet instantly . The coldness of this Alpha is so frightening it makes everyone afraid. His words alone are deadly and he is not one to mess with. He truly lives up to his name .

"Mate pack your things now, "he commands me in his alpha tone .

I nod my head and wait for Emily to guide me out of the room as usual. She grabs my arm gently and squeezes it with assurance .I'm completely scared because I know he will reject him sooner or later. Its just a matter of time. Emily leads me to her room and closes the door behind me .

She guides me to her bed and helps me to sit .it's being long since I sat on an actual bed .I smile sadly at the thought of this .I postion myself properly so that I don't fall.

"Well you can sit here and I will go get your teddy bear and I will give you some of my shirts and dresses, "she speaks as I hear her legs shuffle around her room.

"You don't have to -"

"Of course i have to Kin,"she answers quickly with a nervous laughter. I know Emily enough to know that she is sad .Her voice is strained and I feel the change of mood in her scent.

"Emily ,"I whisper as I play with my fingers softly, "It's okay I can stay .You don't have to be sad anymore."

"Kin don't be silly okay ,"she laughs nervously. The bed dips as she sits next to my side .She grabs my arms and clasps my hands tightly .

"I'm just sad that you have to go but happy that you finally get to leave this pack,"she sobs .

I reach out and touch her face carefully afraid that I might poke her eye.I wipe her tears and try not cry as I think about how things just turned out to today.

"It's okay you don't have -"

The door bangs with loud force making the both of us flinch. The familiar rose scent fills the room and I know who exactly is in the room .

"You proud little b***h !" My adoptive mum shrieks landing the first slap on me.

I instantly fall on my knees and touch my cheek soothingly .I was expecting much worse from someone like her. I know she is not happy for me .Her scent is enough to tell that she is more than livid .

"What were you thinking? You ruined our very most important alliance !" She bellows landing another slap on me .

"I swear I didn't know that Alpha Roman will do that, "I stutter as tears fall down my face . I know I shouldn't have answered back because another blow lands on my stomach this time .I clench my abdomen to ease the sudden pain

" Just because you think you are the Alpha's mate doesn't give you the right to speak to me..You were able to fool that Alpha but you can't fool me with your eyes. You are a witch!"she hisses.

"MOTHER!"Emily screams as she jumps infront of me .

"Move out of my way so that I can teach this girl a lesson .She is still in this pack and she is still under my control !"she shouts back.

"Yes but she is Alpha Roman's mate now and if he finds out that you hit her,"Emily stops and takes a breath, "you will not know what will happen next to you ."

"So you are now depending this little witch ?"she spits .I can feel her angry presence hovering around trying to get to me .

"You probably planned this from the start? Right? To embarrass our pack and escape!"she yells .

"Mum please stop! She didn't plan this okay ! No one did "Emily begs as she sobs loudly .

"Shut up Emily .She's a witch and that's why we had her locked up in that stupid basement!"she hisses

"Stop it mum,"Emily please .

"I won't stop .These scars on my face and the scars on your arms because of this little b***h ! Kinsley you are a -"

"Stop it mum! Please I beg of you,She was just a kid!"Emily cries .

Confusion clouds my mind when she mentions scars. Surprisingly my adoptive mum keeps quiet and doesn't say a word.

"I hope he rejects you ,"she scoffs quietly and walks out of the room slowly .The door doesn't bang and I immediately know that the room is open.

"Emily you didn't have to do any of that, "I whisper solemnly.

"It was necessary, "she laughs in a shaky voice .

I decide to ask the question that I have been dying to ask when my adoptive mum said that I gave her and Emily scars .As far as I can remember I have been weak and abused all my life

"What did she mean-"

"She meant nothing okay Kin she was just spewing her usual bullshit to make you feel bad ,"she interrupts me .

I drop my head low and whisper an okay letting this issue go .

"Let's get you ready, "Emily speaks in a sudden cheerily voice.

"Okay ,"I nod my head
