As Kayla approached the cabin, her intuition told her that this was the end for her and this humbled her. She did not want to fight with Jordan or Veronica anymore. She wanted to talk to them and let them know that she was never going to mention the secret to anyone. She was even going to tear those pages away from her diary. If this is what is going to cost her her life then she is willing to do away with it.
She is going to forget this issue completely and this will make her cease from poking her nose in people's affairs. She loved counselling other students but if this is what it gets her to then she did not want any of it. She was going to step down afterwards and focus on living her life. She will pursue it on campus when everything is professional. Now is more volunteer work.
