Mateo  It's been a month since Kristy has been working here, a month that she doesn't have a problem with telling me off. She has a big mouth for a little person. She challenges me.  "Face it man, you've met your match." Liam chuckled.  "The first days, she was quiet and I think she was scared of me."  "Sad that she isn't anymore? Besides, you shouldn't lay your eyes on her. You have Laura." Liam reminded me.  "Ugh, don't remind me. I can't stand that Botox barbie as she calls her." That made me laugh the day she told me that. Of course, it was by accident. But found it hilarious.  "You can't control yourself around her, can you?" He asked me.  "I actually can't, I just want grab her and kiss her. That little person drives me crazy." I sighed as he laughs.  "Well, ever heard of, what someone doesn't know, won't hurt them?"  "You know what, I like that. I guess I can kiss her without anyone knowing." I smirked.  "I meant ask her on a date."  "I don't do dates nor romantic crap." I rolled my eyes.  "Then don't approach her. Mateo, she's the kind of girl that wants a great guy by her side, a guy that wants more than just fun."  "Let me handle things my way."  Kristy  I was in my office making calls, The life of an assistant. Once I finished talking to one of his clients, someone entered the office.  "Hey Kristy." Leo said as he walked towards my desk and then took a seat on the chair.  "Hey Leo." I smiled, "What can I do for you?"  "So, I was thinking if you wanted go out on a date?"  "Uhm, I don't think your brother would approve, he has this no dating rule with the people in the company."  "What he doesn't know, won't hurt him." He smirked.  "Uhm, I guess. Sure, why not."  "Awesome, I'll pick you up at 8 tonight." He winked at me and then left the office.  I mean, it couldn't hurt going on a date. Besides, Mateo can't control who we date or not. He may be the boss in the company but not outside. What can go wrong?  After work, I went home and plopped on the couch. I was so exhausted. As soon as I close my eyes, I felt a little person shaking me.  "Sissy, tomorrow is my recital, you are coming right?" I opened my eyes to see Chloe smiling.  "I wouldn't miss it for the world." I smiled while pulling her into a hug.  "That was a good nap." Jojo said while entering the living room and then sat on the couch, "So how was working for Mr. Jerk?" I gave him that nickname. Sometimes he's nice and others he acts like a jerk.  "He's been chill lately. But I got asked out by his brother, Leonardo. He's picking me up at 8 pm today."  "But I like Mr. jerk for you." Chloe said while pinching my cheeks. We just chuckled.  "Well, he has a girlfriend and he isn't interested in me, so I guess going on a date with Leo sounds good."  "Well, have fun tonight and be safe." Jojo said while smirking.  .......  He picked me up and took me to this cute fancy restaurant. I'm not a fan of these type of restaurant, but I'm guessing he wanted to impress me. We placed our orders and talked while waiting.  "You know, your brother told me a month ago, that you were off limits because you were in a relationship."  "I haven't been in a relationship for a while. I'm enjoying the single life." He mentioned before drinking his water.  "Same, cheers for the single life." I said as we clink our glasses and then drink.  After 20 minutes, our food came and I had to admit, it was delicious. We just talked, laugh and had a great time. We left the restaurant and went for a walk.  "It's been a while since I've went on a date." I told him.  "Same here, but feels nice to date again." He smiled.  After an hour of hanging out, he took me home, he walked me to the front porch and then leaned in and pulled me into kiss. Not gonna lie, his lips felt really nice, but there was just one little detail. I didn't feel sparks or butterflies in this kiss. something was missing.  We pulled away and we just looked at each other and smiled. I think he felt that this kiss wasn't what he was expecting, "Well, you are a great kisser but I think we both know something is missing." He told me.  "Yeah, I think we work better as friends." I said and he nodded.  "Well, goodnight, pal." He joked as I chuckled.  "Goodnight, you goof." I smiled. We waved goodbye and I waited for him to get in his car. I sighed and went inside.  "So?" Jojo asked.  "We don't have that chemistry, we are just good as friends, and that actually works perfect for me." I told her before going to my bedroom.  The only man who has caught my attention, was definitely off limits.
