Carolina “I see you following my advice is finally paying off,” Anastasia says. I use my heka to easily weave the training coin through my fingers. The coin then moves at a steady pace through the gym, navigating through equipment and circling Charles and Elijah who are the ones who are sparring this afternoon on the mats. The coin slows down as it makes its way back to me. I make it freeze mid air before I reach over and grab it. “…yeah,” I say. I part of me wants to yell at her that her brother who doesn’t even use heka was able to help me better than she can. But I hold my tongue.
