Carolina I never realized how strong Elijah was until this moment. I strain slightly as I use my entire body weight to drag the recliner across the floor, out of the way from the door. I feel a little impressed that my boyfriend is so strong that he could lift this without any kind of struggle. I can hear the fighting outside this door. It isn’t as close as it was before. I can only assume Elijah helped Charles and the guards push the intruders out of the hallway. I bring the hand that’s holding the coin to my chest. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest.
