There it was—the bus that would carry them to their destination and leave them for two days. Kay’s instincts told him to step backwards and walk back to the comfort of his dorm room while he still could. Two days. Two days! No proper heater, no proper electricity, no nearby cafés, no good mattress and fluffy pillows, no real bathroom with a bidet!—just a tent, a sleeping bag, and nature. Freaking nature! Kay loved camping outside his old house—lying on the grass, looking at the stars. The forest is a completely different environment, especially when he was to be stuck there with peers he barely knew.
