"Micheal??" Amelia called as her voice trembled, "Mi-Micheal is that really you?" "What are you talking about? Why would Michael be here?", Richard questioned in disbelief The hall was full and bustling with people. Everywhere you turned, you could see a prominent figure from the business world. It was the perfect place for networking and making new business partners, which was the exact reason Richard was there. So Richard couldn't understand why his wife, Amelia, would think she saw his deadbeat brother in this event of all places. "Just look", Amelia replied while pointing at a man. Richard looked towards the direction she pointed at and his face immediately turned pale. Before he could say anything, he rushed towards the man and grabbed his arm. "Micheal, what the hell do you think you're doing here?", he fumed. What was his little brother doing here? He must be here to pull some trick to ruin his chances to find a business partner. These were thoughts that ran through Richard's head. "Did you come back from the dead to ruin my business? Are you here to sabotage me? Huh? ANSWER ME?" Richard shouted. But before he could get the answers he seeked, he was forcefully pulled away from the man's body and the force made him fall flat on the floor. He looked back at the man in awe, but was only met by a merciless glare from him. Richard had never been so intimidated in his life, he couldn't even stand up from the ground. "How dare you lay your filthy hands on the young master?", one of the bodyguards glared. "Young master?? Why would they be calling you that?", Richard questioned in awe. What nonsense was he witnessing? His supposedly dead brother was being treated with so much respect. The bodyguards moved closer to Richard in an attempt to throw him out, but they were stopped by the young master, he finally opened his mouth to speak. "Do I know you?" He replied in a cold tone as he continued to glare at Richard. "You know what? Don't answer that question, I know for a fact that I don't know you." He said mockingly, " You look and behave like one of those hood rats who grew up without being taught proper manners". Richard could no longer hold back his rage, who was he to speak to him like that. "How dare yo_". Before he could finish, Michael's secretary bumped in. "Watch your mouth", she scowled, "You're speaking to Mr Hayes, so mind your manners". "Did you just say Mr Hayes? As in the CEO of Hayes Industries?", Richard couldn't believe what he just heard. If what he thought was correct, then Micheal, his brother who was supposed to be dead, owned the company he'd been trying to make a partnership deal with for years. But how was that even possible? When he came to this realization, he also noticed how Micheal was dressed. He was wearing a luxurious suit and he could tell just from looking that he could never even afford Michael's shoes if he wanted. Micheal grinned as a look at Richard's dazed face. "Get this man out of my sight", he said as he turned to leave, there was now a commotion in the hall because of what had happened and he couldn't stand the attention. "Wait, Michael...", Amelia said as she ran towards them, "How could you treat your own brother like this" Micheal turned around and threw a disgusted look at her before saying, "It seems both you and your wife have the manners of street beggars, I'm quite disappointed." His demeanor had become cold, and Amelia was trembling before him. "Get them out of my sight, I can't stand being next to filth. And don't hesitate to use force", he said to his bodyguards before walking away. After being kicked out, Richard was now boiling in anger. He had never been so embarrassed, and it was his brother who humiliated him this way. He wouldn't stand for it, and was going to pay him back. He waited till Michael left the event and tailed his car, and he followed Michael to his house. He was determined to get answers that night. When Michael entered into his house, he followed him in and grabbed him by his arm and forcefully pulled him back. "What kind of game are you playing here?", Richard roared. Micheal stared at him and started laughing. After a few minutes, he pulled his arm from Richard's grip and pushed him back. " Isn't it obvious?", Micheal sneered, " or are you just too dumb to understand". Micheal grabbed Richard and slams him against the wall. Richard groans in pain, when did Michael become so strong. "Did you think you were just going to get away with your crimes? Did you think I would let you live peacefully", Micheal chuckled as he held his arm against Richard's neck. Richard was gasping for breath and tried pushing his arm off, but to no avail. "You took everything away from me. My home and even my own wife", Michael roared, "You took everything from me and thought I'd just let it slide". Richard was slowly losing consciousness, before Micheal finally released him from his grip. Richard fell to the ground, still gasping for breath. He stretched his hands and tried to pull his body away from Michael but was stopped when Michael stepped on his hand. He groaned in pain and tried freeing his hand from under Michael's shoe, but he wouldn't budge. "Richard, my dear brother", Michael continued with a smirk on his face, "I'm going to take everything you own, just as you did to me, and I'm going to start with that company of yours. I'll make sure all your illegal activities are brought to the light of day". Richard's face turned pale as he heard his brother's words. "Are you scared already?", Michael grinned and continued, "but this is only the beginning". "I'll make your life a living hell"
