It was a cold but the beautiful day when Damien and Nadia strolled under the thick trees on the ground before them. Sunlight dripped through the creaking limbs, casting long shadows on the ground before them. The birds sang overhead, and the scent of wet earth filled the air.Underneath all this loveliness, tension existed between them.
Nadia draped the cloak over her shoulders. "So then, where are we headed?"

She scrunched up her brow. "Archives? I wanted to find out something about my life, not sit and read books. Old ones."
