Golden light cascaded over the wide grounds above Alpha Damien's pack, pouring down on the massive mansion in the center of the pack in all its glory. Inside the mansion, the pack members filled the grand hall, all of them gazing fixedly at the large frame of their Alpha.
Damien loomed over her, his expression implacable, his presence alone commanding total attention. Nadia stood beside him, her wrists clenched nervously together in front of her. Other than last night in his arms, the stark reality of her new existence was only just beginning to sink in.
