Nadia returned to her family's estate,Nadia returned to her family's estate, lost in thought but sensing something amiss. Her mother, Elara, greeted her with a concerned expression.
"Mother, what's going on?" Nadia asked. "I sense something's off, ."
Elara hesitated. "Your father and I... we have things to discuss. Later, okay?"
Breaking in on her parents she asked. “What do you know about Alpha Damien and his past?”
Both Cormac and Elera turned their attention to Nadia with a suspicious look and back to themselves wondering how she had the slightest hint about their past with Damien.
“What history do you have with him?” She interrogates while raising her voice. “Did you hurt him?”
“ Darling, um....., could we talk about this some other time.” Cormac digressed.
