We were in my room, she slept on her tummy her arms dangling from the edge of the bed, I sat leg crossed on the floor, reason why I don’t know but it felt better like that.
“So, vampire or werewolf type of person.” I could the heard the excitement in her tone, both of us both enjoyed supernatural series or movies, from supernatural to the originals, teen wolf or vampire diaries just name it.
“Vampires, they live an eternity mostly likely dead inside, going through loss again and again. But they are super dope, from the speed to the strength to compelling. While werewolfs break every bone in there body to change and there weakness being silver, but the free will to change any time they feel like not only on full moon is thrilling, running wild with the wild is certainly something I would like to do.” I gave her one last glance before I came to my concussion. “A hybrid.”
“So greedy. I would choose a witch, magic and stuff, crusing people and casting spells what a joy ride.” I glared at her in disbelief, would she really want to be a witch to curse people this girl was insane.
“You amuse me.” I simply stated tilting my head, she took her gaze from the wall directly to my eyes, my eyes wandered in hers there was so much to her that I liked.
Her personality was remarkable, her eyes everything about her was enough of a reason to get lost in her, I turned my gaze away with a frown across my face, lucky was the guy who got her heart.
The day had gone by fair enough apart from the constant heartache when I looked at Eunice, she really was something special I wish she knew that.
By the time the sun had been going down, Eunice had already left me alone. I didn’t want her to go at all, I was having so much fun with her but it had to end eventually.
Mother and father were downstairs for what seemed like the whole day, I was used to always being alone in the house I found it irritating when I was hallway down the stair when mother told me I was only in a shirt, imagine my embarrassment.
When I quickly rushed to my room I threw on a pair of shorts then ran back down stairs, they wanted to speak to me they said. “I’m back, not a word about that.” I sat down on the couch glaring at both of them.
They really seemed in a great mood, I guess a day from work does that to you, brings back you’re glow.
“Okay not a word.” my father pretended to zip up his mouth with a fake zip, I and mother look at him baffled he really joked anymore, this felt good being with them again like old times.
“So we figured it out.” my mother practically jumped in her seat, my father gripped her hand lightly to contain her.
“Figured what out?” I looked back and forth between them, their faces wore a face I recognize, achievement like they cracked a code.
“That you’re gay.” My eyes darted on them in surprise, had I fallen asleep that I was dreaming this whole thing.
Do they hate me now than they already did, were they going to disown me most of all where they ashamed of me, thoughts kept running wild, it felt like I was about to have a mental break down.
“Ruby breath, you’re going to explode.” this time my father’s voice came through my ears, I instantly let out a big breath of air I hadn’t known I contained.
“You got...” I stopped speaking when I felt my mother’s finger silence me, when did she get over to where I was.
“We don’t hate you nor want to disown you, we love you and we respect you enough to accept who you love. We’re just disappointed that you never told us but just started to assume stuff and isolate your self from us.” My mother placed her arm over my shoulder, I took my gaze away from them and looked down, I couldn’t bare looking them in the eyes.
“I noticed your change in behaviour when you reached high school, and slowly over the years you became isolated, you let no one in not once. We don’t hate you but please trust us and don’t hate yourself, your our little perfection.” I took a quick glance at both of them, on their faces there was no hint of any emotion but love and care.
“We love you, you’re our little bunny rabbit.” my dad spoke this time, he walked over to us and just like my mother his arm was over my shoulder. I missed this, I really did the only thing that could make it perfect was Annie.
Just like that she walked into the room, her bag pack over her shoulder. “And what’s going on and why is Ruby.” she looked at us with surprise written all over her face.
“Just get in here.” my dad glared at our us, Annie walked over and got into our embrace.
“But okay, why is Ruby crying.” Annie asked while well where still hugging, I needed it so much.
“I’m gay, I’m just really happy they still love me.” I heard Annie grasp in surprise.
“I knew it.” she said cheerily, if I wasn’t sitting down I would have easily seen her but the body’s beside me made it hard.
“I have always loved you.” I heard Annie’s voice say, my heart melt completely. All I needed was some TLC, I squeezed them lightly my heart jumping up and down.
