I don’t trust Lucas and Rhett to get the work done which is why Skylar and I are in Mirae’s bedroom, planning on how we are going to sneak into Headmistress McFadden’s house tonight.
“Are we safe?” Mirae keeps asking us, she is scared of the mission but she still wants to come along, she wants to do something wild for once, her words, not mine though it took a lot of pleading for Skylar to finally agree.
“We’ll be safe if we don’t get caught.” Skylar chuckles, propping a cookie into her mouth. Mirae made those earlier, alongside peppermint tea.
