Tonya Two hours later I stood in front of the mirror, hardly recognizing myself. The crimson silk gown clung to me. It had slender straps, an embroidered neckline that skimmed my collarbones. The back dipped just enough to expose my skin till my lower back. The skirt was a ripple of red when I moved. Ivy brushed my hair into soft waves and fastened a tiny jasmine pin behind my ear. “You look radiant,” she whispered, eyes shining with unshed tears. I chuckled. “What is going on?” “You’ll see it,” she said with a mystic air. I shook my head at the dramatics. We drove to the center of the town into a clearing, where the pack often held festivals.
