CHAPTER ONE: ELECTRIC NIGHTS
The music festival was in full swing, with thousands of people gathered on the sun-kissed fields of the festival grounds. Hazel Martins, a 17-year-old heiress to her family's billion-dollar fortune, was dancing with her friends in front of the main stage, soaking up the electric atmosphere.
As the daughter of James Martins, a wealthy businessman, Hazel was used to a life of luxury and privilege. She had grown up with every material possession she could ever want, from designer clothes to exotic vacations. But despite her high-society upbringing, Hazel had a passion for music and a desire to experience life beyond the confines of her family's wealth.
As the night wore on, Hazel's favorite band, "Echo Fade," took the stage. She had been a die-hard fan of the band for years, and she couldn't believe her luck when she found out they were performing at the festival.
The band launched into their hit single, "Lost in the Moment," and Hazel was swept up in the music. She closed her eyes, letting the rhythm wash over her, and sang along at the top of her lungs.
When she opened her eyes again, she found herself locked in a gaze with the lead singer of the band, Jordan Scott. He was staring straight at her, his piercing blue eyes seeming to see right through her.
Hazel felt a shiver run down her spine as Jordan's eyes held hers. She couldn't look away, even as the music reached a crescendo and the crowd erupted into cheers.
As the band finished their set and left the stage, Hazel felt a sense of disappointment wash over her. She had been so caught up in the music, and now it was over.
But as she turned to leave, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Jordan Scott standing behind her, a smile spreading across his face.
"Hey," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I'm Jordan."
Hazel's heart skipped a beat as she took in the sight of Jordan, up close and personal. She felt a spark of electricity run through her body, and she knew that this chance encounter might just change her life forever.
"I'm Hazel," she replied, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in her stomach.
Jordan's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "Nice to meet you, Hazel," he said. "I saw you dancing in the front row. You seemed really into the music."
Hazel nodded enthusiastically. "I love your band," she said. "I've been listening to your album nonstop."
Jordan laughed. "Thanks, that means a lot," he said. "We've been working really hard to get our music out there."
As they talked, Hazel found herself feeling more and more at ease. Jordan was easy to talk to, and they seemed to have a lot in common.
But as the night wore on, Hazel couldn't shake the feeling that Jordan was holding something back. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but there seemed to be a depth to him that he wasn't revealing.
As the festival began to wind down, Jordan walked Hazel to the edge of the grounds. "Thanks for talking with me," he said, smiling down at her. "It was really great meeting you."
Hazel smiled back up at him. "Yeah, same to you," she said.
As they stood there, the music and laughter of the festival fading into the background, Hazel felt a sense of connection with Jordan that she couldn't ignore.
"Hey," Jordan said, breaking the silence. "Would you like to grab coffee with me sometime? Maybe we could talk more about music."
Hazel's heart skipped a beat. "I'd love to," she said, trying to sound casual.
Jordan smiled, and Hazel felt a spark of electricity run through her body. "Great," he said. "I'll get your number."
As Jordan pulled out his phone and Hazel recited her number, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had no idea what the future held, but she knew that she wanted to spend more time with Jordan.
As they said their goodbyes and Hazel made her way back to her car, she couldn't shake the feeling that her life was about to change in ways she never could have imagined.
