My time

The last few days were a blur. So much had happened and not enough time to process it all. Hunter and I have been inseparable he was like a love sick puppy following me around everywhere and it’s just the way I like it!

“Angel, I think it’s time we have a chat”

Oh god what now? I don’t think I can handle anything else! He reached in his pocket and handed me a jewellery box! “Hunter, my birthday is not until next month. Save it until then”

“Angel it’s not a birthday present, just open it”

I opened the box and inside was a bracelet with a moon and our initials. It was gorgeous. I wondered how he knew I liked Rose Gold and Black, Joel or Mila must have told him. Hunter put it on my wrist and then out of the blue asked me to marry him wolf style? Ummm what??? Wolf style?

“I have sooo many questions. But yes I’ll marry you wolf style, whatever that means”

He picked me up and spun me around and kissed me. I heard a few Howls from the pack, he must have linked them.

“Ok! Firstly what is wolf style?”

“ A mating ceremony” is he for real? “Why didn’t you just say? I do like wolf style though. Sounds kinky” I wiggled my eyes brows at him like he does to me and I think I just gave him ideas.

“Slow down my handsome Alpha, I still have questions! Why a bracelet and not a ring?”

Hunter tensed up and looked disappointed in himself.

“Do you not like the bracelet? I have a ring as well but I wanted to surprise you on the night of our mating ceremony! I’ll go get it. I’m sorry I’ll take this back!”

“STOP! You are not taking anything back! I love it you dork! I don’t want to see the ring now, you can give it to me on the night”

I could feel Hunters relief. He was so cute I gave him a soft kiss on his cheek. I just had one last question… “how soon can we have our ceremony?”

“How soon are you thinking? We can do it tomorrow if you want, but I’d like a bit more time to make it perfect”

“Is Saturday Night enough time?”

“I’ll have to check with Charlotte and Mum but I’m sure with Nans help they can make it magical” he winked at me! Of course they can make it magical, they are witches after all. I smiled and he lifted me up and sat me on top of his large member. I cannot get enough of him!

“You are hogging him! I want to mate with Loki!” I giggled and Hunter raised his eyebrows.

“Mae said if hogging you and wants to mate with Loki”

“Does she now! Well he won’t shut up about it! So I think we should give them what they want. But right now your mine! You too Mae!”

Mae purred

“He’s lucky he’s hot and makes me feel good”

After we were done with sexy time! I told Hunter I needed to see Mila and Joel. We eat all meals together and then go our seperate ways. I really love having Mila and Jesse so close. The are 1 level below my room in the Beta Wing. Her Mother’s Dad was Hunter’ Pop’s Beta who was died in a battle 30years ago. Milas uncle is the Present Beta but he didn’t have any children as his mate is baron! Mila and Jesse next in line but there’s no way Hunter could have Mila as his Beta which is absolute bullshit. She’s a better fighter than most of the warriors at Moon Shine Pack! I guess there’s time to work all that out once its time for Hunter to take over as Alpha! I still don’t believe that I’ll be future Luna and I’ll get to become closer with Layla. She’s like the mother I never had. I feel cheated I never knew my real Mum. Evie is actually my Aunt, Mae said she never felt bonded to her and now we know why.

“Cause she’s a b***h! I’d like to kick her ass for treating you the way she did. If I had known she wasn’t your mum, oh the things I could have done”

“Mae, she still raised me. She wasn’t always a b***h, I think she did love me, but not enough to care what I wanted. Only what she wanted”

Mae huffed and curled up not wanting to talk about it anymore. I promised her that I would let her take control tonight so she could have her time with Loki. There’s a hidden spot behind the waterfall that I’m sure she will absolutely love and they can play and mate for hours.

I found Mila and Jesse playing outside with the other pups. I watched them for a little while before I made my way over to them. I’ve never seen Mila laughing and happy the way she is here and I cannot thank the moon goddess for giving us a second chance. Moon Shine pack was not meant for us to lead, but here members of the pack have so many opportunities, even the omegas!

“If I didn’t know you were not raised here, I’d never had guessed! This pack really suits you Mila”

“Thanks bestie. I havnt had the chance to thank you for pushing me out of Moon Shine. I didn’t think I could ever leave my dad but now I wish I left sooner when Nanny suggested it”

“You are here now. You know you are of Beta blood not just Gamma, you could train as a warrior. I’ve seen the females train, they are impressive but they could learn a thing or two from you! You have moves girl”

“Errr, I actually have a meeting with Hunter and Alpha Leo this afternoon to discuss my role in the pack. Hunter said to keep an open mind, I don’t understand? I’m happy to work in the kitchen and earn my keep for Jesse”

“Don’t be silly Mila, I’m sure they have an amazing position for you. Wait til they see you fight! Mila you are meant to lead, not cook! I’ll be in the meeting, but Hunter won’t tell me what it’s about”

“Jesse seems happy. Have you spoken to the Luna Layla more about Jesse’s possibility of being a witch?”

“She’s not 100% sure. She thinks that my mum passed on her magic to him at birth but she also said he may have a wolf. She’s looking into whether he may be a hybrid. Her pups could use their powers when they were 2 years old but they were exposed to it. It may take longer for Jesse as he is not Royal and witches don’t gain their powers until 13 but they can do earthly spells using herbs from a young age”

“Wow that’s a lot to process, so we won’t know until he’s 16 if he has a wolf, but we will know early on if he’s witch? I’ve seen him heal Mila he has wolf blood!”

“Well he is my fathers son, so I’d hope he has wolf blood, he will have all the traits of a warewolf but if he is witch, he won’t have a wolf. Luna doesn’t think this is the case. She things he has a wolf but also Mums powers which will make him a hybrid. It’s never been seen outside of the Lorna family as they are Warewolf / Royal Coven.”

Wow this was a lot to take in.

“Are you ok? This is a lot to take on!”

“Surprisingly I’m good. I’ve never felt better. It’s a lot to take in but I felt a relief once I got here. Like nothing is impossible and Luna Layla has been amazing. OHHH! Do you know there’s a childcare in the territory? Or Estate as they like to call it? Jesse will be starting 3yr old Kindergarten next week, 2 times a week. He will half wolf classes and witch classes once a week too!”

“Wow I had no idea. I really need to have a tour. Layla wants to start Luna training me for when we take over, she called me her apprentice”

“I can’t believe your mating ceremony is tomorrow night! Can I come get ready with you tomorrow?

“There’s no one I’d rather be with but you, well except for Hunter of course” we both laughed sat there watching Jesse play with the other pups. It was so nice to see him interacting with pups his age. He wasn’t allowed to mingle with the pack at Moon Shine! He stayed with Nanny while we were at school and then Mila took over after school but mainly stayed in their suite and mine sometimes or my private garden by the lake.

My time has come, and everything I’ve ever dreamed of is actually happening. Jack and his friends made me believe I was worth nothing and I didn’t deserve to have a mate who loved me. He always said if he wasn’t my mate then I’d be rejected by whoever is because we were destined for each other! That psychopath haunts me every day!

I went to see Layla and Charlotte who have been busy organising my mating ceremony and told me not to worry and they were going to do it all for me. I wasn’t really fussy as long as they were all there with me. Mu-, Evie always threw Mila and I a birthday party every year but she just loved being the centre of attention and was known for throwing a good party! I just told Charlotte that I’d like a garden ceremony with fairy lights and I wanted to pick my dress. I showed them what I wanted and that night it was on my bed. I don’t know how they got it so fast and it was the perfect fit. I expect magic to be involved.

Next stop was the Alphas office, Mila was waiting at the door and I held her hand and walked in with her. Hunter looked at me with his sexy eyes and I linked him “don’t look at me like that or I won’t be able to control my arousal” he gave me a wink and then asked his dad if they should start. Luna Layla walked in and picked Jesse up.

“How about we go get some icecream while Mila has her meeting” Jesse squired with excitement and kissed her on the cheek! “Yay icecream”

“I’ve called this meeting to discuss your role here at Black Moon. If there is anything you would like to do please let us know but we have something else in mind that we would like to offer you!”

“I havnt thought about it really, I wasn’t allowed to do anything apart from school and take care of Jesse! I do want to finish my last year of school. Alyra and I have a couple of months left”

“Charlotte is also finishing her last year of school. You will both attend from Monday onwards and we have your school credits and reports already from the council. Firstly Id like to know if you would like to do further studies? We have a online program for anyone wanting to get a degree in their chosen field.”

“Ehhh sorry Alpha, but I really haven’t given in much thought. We didn’t have the option for more. Once I finished school they were going to assign me to the kitchen. I’m happy to work with Mrs Nash to earn my keep”

“That won’t be necessary. We have a better offer, Hunter why don’t you tell Mila”

Hunter felt excited in our bond.

“As you know, I’m going to be taking over as Alpha. This will be happening next year. In January we will be hosting a tournament to find my Beta and Gamma. Because Your uncle doesn’t have any children, you are next in line for the Beta Position. Mila, how do you feel about being my Beta?”

“But I’m female! The council won’t allow it”

“We won’t give them the choice! They will accept it. We don’t do things by the books here. We are a Royal Family and will need to make an appeal to the council but it will pass. We just need to go through the formalities of a tournament”

“Wow! This means so much to me! YES OH MY GODDESS YES! When can I start training?”

“Female warriors train at 6am every morning but I’d like you to train with your uncle at 430pm Monday, Wednesday and Fridays! How does that sound?”

“Where do I sign?”
