Mating Ceremony

I woke up this morning after having the weirdest dream, I stretched out my arm but the bed was empty. Hunter had gone on his run without me this morning which was odd because we have been going together every morning since I arrived. I looked over to my bedside table and there was a rose with a note.

My gorgeous Angel,

Today is your special day and I’ve got a surprise waiting for you in the recreational room. When you are ready, head down there and all the girls will be waiting.

Warning, Charlotte is way too excited and will be over the top but I’m not sorry. I will forever spoil you for the rest of our lives.

“I better get to mark my mate tonight too” “after our mating ceremony we will go on a run and we will go behind the waterfall for you and Loki to mate”

I picked up the rose and placed it on my chest. I wonder what the surprise could be. Charlotte linked me .. “are you up yet? We are all waiting for you in the rec room”

I quickly got up, had a shower and made my way downstairs. I really wanted to see Hunter this morning, I didn’t like not waking up to him. Mila came running up to me and pulled me into the room and it was all set up like a retreat!

“Wow this looks amazing, did Hunter do all this?”

“Mate loves us”

“It was his idea, but mum and I made it happen with a touch of magic”

I laughed and hugged everyone. I started to get emotional when Mila said that I deserved every bit of it and more. We have never seen anything like this before, our families had us working and never treated us like the princesses we were meant to be. I was a Betas daughter and Mila was the Gammas daughter, but we were treated as Omegas without the title. The only time we were treated with our titles was when we had events where our allies were present.

“What do you want to do first, over here is the Nail salon, then we have the hair salon and then over here is the day spa where you can get massages and facials”

“Wow ok umm, I just need a minute to process all of this” I was starting to feel anxious and overwhelmed. Ally was frowning and came over to me and put her hand on my head.

“Alyra, are you ok? I felt the need to heal you but nothing is wrong?”

“I’m ok Ally, I just feel a little anxious. Hunter normally takes it away for me with his super cool calming hands, I’ll be ok I just need to sit down”

Everyone was looking at me which wasn’t helping, Mila distracted everyone and took the focus off me. I don’t know what id do without her, she knew me inside and out. Layla suggested that maybe I should start with a massage to relax me. This was a great idea. The day went so fast it was time for me to get my hair and makeup done before putting on my dress. Everyone was looking incredible, the makeup artist was very talented. She told me that Luna Layla saved her from her old pack and makeup was a passion for her so Layla got her an apprenticeship in the pack and now runs a course for hair and makeup. What was more inspiring is that she’s an Omega with an important role within the pack. I love how no matter what your title is here, everyone is considered an equal.

Layla said it was time to get ready and that everyone was starting to gather in the garden. Mila helped me into my dressed and zipped me up. It was perfect, I’ve always dreamed of a dress exactly like this and I finally got it. Layla was amazing at conjuring things, i thought only fairies could do it but with her Royal powers she can bring things to life by just thinking about what she wants. Behind the recreational room were two double doors that opened up onto a decking that led us to the garden that was lit up by mason jars with fairy lights in them hanging from the trees. It was so magical and just like I imagined it to be with white roses and a petal path leading to a stage where the most handsome man was standing shirtless. Holy crap I think I just had an orgasm by just looking at him. Is that even possible? f**k me! I can’t walk or look away!

“Angel if you don’t get your perfectly round ass here right now I’m going to come and get you and take you in front of all these people. I can smell your arousal and it’s killing me” Hunter was linking me and I was still in shock of the pleasure that came over me from looking at him up there. I’ve seen him completely naked before but he just looks so f*****g hot in those jeans and standing there looking all mighty Alpha Tough!

“Girl, you need to calm your farm and get yourself together. You are giving me images I don’t want to ever see of my brother! Now cool it and move”

I laughed at Charlotte and it was perfect distraction I needed. I made my way to the stage next to Hunter. His Dad cleared his throat and asked if I was ready. I nodded and blushed so brightly I couldn’t have blinded the first row.

“We have gathered here today to celebrate your Future Luna and Alpha’s mating and officially unite the two with the blessing of our goddess”

Hunter held both my hands out and said “I future Alpha of the Black Moon Pack fulfill my duties as a mate and alpha to Alyra Hannah. I promise to love and protect her for the rest of our lives”

Words couldn’t describe how mushy that made me feel, I wasn’t sure what I needed to say so I copied everything he said

“I future Luna of the Black Moon Pack fulfill my duties as a mate and Luna to Hunter Lorna. I promise to love and protect him for the rest of our lives”

Hunter took a knife and cut his hand and I did the same, we then held hands and I felt an aura fulfill me. Wow I can feel Hunters emotions so much more deeply now.

His dad was speaking but I couldn’t hear anything, I just felt all of Hunters love and admiration that it consumed me.

“It’s official Angel, you are mine forever. Are you ready to run?”

“I’m so ready! Mae is giving me a headache knocking on my head wanting to get out”

“Tonight we honour the mating bond of our future Luna And Alpha, lead us on our run son”

We shifted and Loki Howled to the pack and they followed us down to the Forrest by the lake. All the wolves started parting so we broke through and went around to the waterfall. “Ok Mae, it’s all you now. Have fun” I let go of my control and let Mae and Loki have their time mating”

A few hours had gone by and I felt a pull from Mae, I surfaced and she said I needed to shift back, somethings going on at the pack house. Hunter shifted as well. He said we needed to get back to the house.

We could hear howls and a fire burning at the border. What was going on?

“Hunter what’s happening” He growled and said “Jack, Jack is happening”

Dread and worry filled me and I needed to find Mila and make sure she and Jesse were safe!

“All pregnant she-wolfs and kids into the safe house NOW!” I didn’t even know where the safe house was but I just hoped they took Mila and Jesse there!

“Hunter, where is Mila and Jesse?”

“Jesse is with Mrs Nash, Mila is out on the field! Eric My lead warrior said she’s with his group! We need her to bond with our pack, I need to be able to link her if she’s fighting with us!”

I wanted to do that to if but I got to wrapped up in the mating bond that it slipped my mind. We will talk about this after we destroy Moon Shine!

I ran alongside Hunter until we met with Eric and Mila. There was something strange going on between the two. I brushed it off and spotted Jack!

“He’s mine!” Hunter growled and shifted making his way towards Jack.

Jack Shifted and put his hands up wanting to talk !! f**k talking, he has to go!

“Alyra, please I need to talk with you, we want you and Mila to come home” growls filled the air and Hunter was ready to pounce. I stood in front of him and he linked me “what are you doing Alyra, step back i don’t want him to hurt you”

“He won’t, let me talk and then you can snap his neck”

“Jack, Mila and I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO YOUR PATHETIC PACK! HOW DARE YOU, YOU ALL KNEW EVELYN WASNT MY MOTHER AND STILL MADE MY LIFE DIFFICULT. I WILL NEVER STAND WITH YOU. NEVER! AND DAD IF YOU ARE HERE, I HOPE YOU AND GAMMA RICHARD ROT IN HELL FOR WHAT YOU DID TO US KIDS”

I turned around and nodded. Hunter flew past me, I shifted and Mae took over! We saw Evelyn and launched for her, my dad didn’t even try to stop us, he shifted and said he was sorry and let a warrior take him down. I winced and then snapped Evelyns neck. She was a traitor and probably the one who killed my mum. She deserved to rot in a cell but I rather her dead so she couldn’t inflict all the pain and suffering she has caused me. I saw Hunter and Jack fighting but in the corner of my eye I seen Charlotte had been injured. I needed to go help her. I fought off every warrior that came for us until I felt a horrible ache in my heart. This was not my pain, it had to be Hunter. I couldn’t see him anywhere. I linked Alpha Leo and told him to go to Hunter. He linked me back saying he was ok and that Jack was dead. I heard Alpha Ritchie howl and he came full speed at me. Before he reached me Hunter barreled into him and snapped his neck.

Wolves were retreating, and started to leave. With Alpha Ritchie and Jack dead, everyone at Moon Shine would be rogue until a new alpha was selected.

“Layla, I need help, Charlottes hurt, we need Ally!” Layla and I carried Charlotte back to the pack house and Ally was able to heal her. I linked Hunter “baby where are you. I havnt seen Mila. Is she ok?”

“Mila is fine, she’s with Eric, they are mates. I’m coming to you now Angel”

Mila is the lead warriors mate? I couldn’t think of a better match! I thought she seemed a little off today. She must have felt him near. He got back this morning from a camping trip he took with his brothers. I’m thrilled she’s found her mate and now once she’s marked and bonded to the pack I’ll be able to link her again! Hunter came in and threw me over his shoulder and took me out to the garden and sat me on a bench seat. He buried his head in my neck “I love you so much Alyra, the second I laid eyes on you I knew you would steal my heart. I can’t ever be apart from you, you are my everything.”

“I feel the same way about you Hunter, everyone who ever hurt me is now gone and I have you to thank for that, I’m sorry they ruined our night. Loki, I promise I’ll make it up to you” I kissed him and told him to take me to our room.
