Mating Ceremony - Hunters POV

*** Hunter’s POV***

Charlotte would not stop getting in my head about this retreat I have had her organise for Alyra. I wanted her day to be as special as she is in every single way. I told mum my idea yesterday asking if it was possible to set it up and have some workers from our pack and the crescent night pack to host the day. The crescent night pack was our allies and they had a beauty school inside. One of their pack members is mated to a human who had her own salon and their Luna didn’t want her to stop living her dream so they built a salon in the territory. Over the years we have sent pups there to learn from Allison and we opened our own Salon with Hair and Make up when Kiara joined our pack. She was very fragile when she first came here, Mum thought it was a good idea to give her a distraction by giving her the opportunity to style to the new hair salon. Mum also gave her the choice to learn from Allison but she didn’t want to leave the pack. So Allison created an apprenticeship program online for Kiara and came to our pack 2 days a week to work with her. Now Kiara is our star teaching our pups as part of their school

Curriculum and some of our retired warriors who want a career in the beauty industry.

I really wanted to see Alyra today and make sure she was having fun. But I wanted to wait until tonight’s mating ceremony. I took all my willpower not to go in the Rec Room and grab my beautiful mate and kiss her. Was linking the same? I will hold off. I was overwhelmed with Alyra’s feelings and I wanted to vomit, oh goddess she hates it! What have I done?

I linked Charlotte “what’s happening? Is Alyra ok?”

“She’s ok, she said she just needs to sit down and that she felt anxious and you normally calm her down with your cool calming hands apparently”

I couldn’t help but laugh at her calling my hands cool calming hands, I sent her some of my calmness through our bond in hope she could overcome her thoughts. Jack Hyatt will f*****g pay for this! He’s emotionally and psychologically abused my mate all these years.

“She’s ok now. Mum suggested to start with a massage to relax, she agreed”

“Charz, she’s not use to this much attention. Take is easy on her and back off with your excitement. It’s probably too much for her”

“I’ll try and tone it down. You have waited 2 years for her and now it’s finally happening. And she couldn’t be anymore perfect for you. I love you Hunter and she’s pretty awesome too. Joel’s told me a few things of what’s happened in her old pack. They are mental H, like f*****g obsessive, controlling and in the head psychopaths. We will go to war with them! Joel’s brother has renounced his alliance with them this morning”

“Good, this will make them a stronger alliance with us especially now you two are mates. I actually need to speak with you both about something important. Can we meet tomorrow in dads office?”

“Is everything ok?”

“Yep! More than ok! Go and enjoy your pampering day. Joel’s with us now he’s bored”

“Hahaha he’s already been on 3 runs this morning. Ok I’m going to get a massage next so I’ll see you later big bro! As much as I tease you, I do love you and I’m really happy for you”

“Me too little sis”

Joel was pacing the office, “ok, you are going to burn holes in the carpet If you don’t stop pacing! What’s up?”

“Charlotte and I have been inseparable since I got here and I love it here and I know she does too! My brother is wanting me to go back to Hidden Valley to welcome Charlotte into my pack but I don’t know if I want to do that”

I raised an eyebrow, a little confused. Why doesn’t he want my sister to join his pack!

“What are you trying to say, you don’t want my sister to join your pack?

“No I don’t, we’ll not like that! I do but I think I want to stay here with her and I don’t know if she will want that. I know I’m meant to be an alpha one day but I don’t want that if my Luna is unhappy away from her family.”

“I have a solution that might just fix that problem. I was going to wait until tomorrow, I’ve set up a meeting with you and Charlotte but how would you feel about us joining packs one day?”

“How would that work? I don’t have a pack”

“We will be taking over our neighbouring pack very soon. We just need proof that the Alpha is not looking out for umated she-wolfs. We have had reports but council need proof. We have sent one of our pack members there undercover. We almost have enough to take over, and when we do, I want you and Charlotte to claim the pack and then we will unite them all with Black Moon, we can work out the how later but I want to speak to you both plus mum and dad tomorrow”

“Woah man, I don’t think that’s ever been done before but Im in!”

Good! Joel was onboard with my idea, now I just need to convince the others that this is a good move and we don’t lose Charlotte this way.

Joel helped me get through the paper work, I was impressed and then Charlotte started squeeling through my link. Loki was annoyed and told her to shut up.

“Eeeeekkkk she loooks absolutely stunning. You better keep it in your pants brother!!”

I growled and Joel looked up and gave me a look “Your mate knows how to get to me! Come on we better get ready and make our way to the garden. The girls are almost done”

I couldn’t contain my nerves, I hope Alyra doesn’t get too overwhelmed and passes out.

“Mate will be excited. Can we go to the waterfall after our run? I want to mate with Mae”

“That’s the plan Loki. I’ll give you full control and you can have your time with Mae”

Loki was bouncing in my head and then I could smell Alyra’s arousal. What the hell, i look over to her and she looked f*****g sexy I could take her right here, right now! I told her to get her ass up here before I can’t control myself anymore!

Dad commenced the ceremony and it was time to share our blood bond with each other. This was the moment I was waiting for, I felt so much love and admiration for Alyra and I thank the Moon goddess for giving me the perfect mate. A warm feeling entered my body and I felt her bond connect with mine. It was overpowering and intimate and I could feel her emotions so much stronger now. It was time for our run. Loki and I took off on our run. I gave my full control to Loki so he could mate with Mae until I felt a tug from the pack. Something was happening I needed to take over and find out what was happening.

“Hunter we need you back NOW! Moon Shine are here on the borders” Eric, my lead warrior linked me that we need all forces at the border! Alyra had shifted and we ran back to the pack house and she took off to the border to find Mila. She’s going to be a great Luna when we take over. I saw her rip through the crowd. I couldn’t help but see Eric protecting Mila but she could hold her own. She’s an amazing fighter and would make a great Beta with Eric by her side. I hope they are mates. I spotted Jack and locked eyes with him.

“It’s time Hunter, he’s ours. He’s not getting away. Kade is saying Mae is his, let’s KILL HIM NOW!”

Mae and Alyra will never be his! I launched towards him and fought him. He got hold of my leg and I let out a howl. I could feel Alyra’s pain through our bond but I needed to focus. He put up a good fight but not good enough. “YOU WILL NEVER TAKE MY MATE, YOU’RE A DEAD MOTHER FUCKER” I sunk my canines in his throat and ripped it out in one second!

I searched to find Alyra but I heard Alpha Ritchie and looked in his direction, he was running for Alyra.

“Loki, quick! Get to Alyra NOW!”

“I’ve got him!”

Loki dove in front of Alyra and push Alpha Ritchie away from her, he wasn’t a good fighter, we ripped through him quickly! I tore through more of the pack until some started retreating. They had no Alpha’s now, their line of leadership is dead! I heard Alyra call for Mum, Charlotte was hurt she needed healing, I couldn’t worry about their right Nowa I found Dad and we wrapped it up. Alyra linked me

“baby, where are you? I havnt seen Mila. Is she ok” I looked around to find Mila and she was wrapped around Eric. I smiled and gave him a nod.

“Eric, take Mila home” I linked Alyra and told her she was Eric’s mate and that I was coming back to her!”

“Hunter son, go to Alyra she will need you more now with your being bonded, ive got this”

I made my way to the pack house and grabbed Alyra over my shoulder and took her to the garden. I was so worried about her I needed to make sure she wasn’t hurt and that she was coping. This woman stole my heart the second I laid my eyes on her and I could bare to think I could have lost her tonight.

She apologised for ruining our night and said she would make it up to Hunter. My mate is the most unselfish wolf I have ever met. I love her so much. I took her back to our room and just held her the rest of the night.
