Last night events were so hazy. I can’t help but wonder what happened to my dad. Did he survive or did he die? What about the pathetic Gamma? Where was he? I wanted to rip his throat out so badly. I played with Hunters hair hoping he would wake up so we could get a a full report on the casualties.

Hunter was so perfect and he’s all mine! Before our night turned to s**t, it was so magical and everything I could of hoped for. I want the exact same for my Luna Ceremony when it’s our time to take over the pack.

I got up and went to see Mrs Nash. She had a breakfast buffet set up in the main dining room and I spotted Joel. I ran up to him and gave him a big hug! I was so happy to see him. Mila and Joel were my real family. I felt a tug on my leg and looked down to find Jesse smiling. I picked him up gave him a hug too.

“Hey buddy what are you doing here”

“I stay with Luna. She gave chocolate to me”

“What a lucky boy you are, I hope you saved some for me” he giggled and ran back to Layla, I mind linked her “I’m guessing Mila is with Eric?”

“I told her to enjoy her night and that Jesse could stay with us for as long as she needed”

“Thats very nice of you Layla, thank you”

“My pleasure. I can’t wait to have little pups running around here” she winked at me! I blushed and took a plate of bacon and eggs to Hunter. He was sitting up when I got back to the room looking sexy as hell. I put down the plate and jumped on top of him.

“Good Morning Sleepy head, I got you some breakfast”

“You are my breakfast!”

He flipped me onto my back and pulled my undies down and started to licked my c**t. I felt like I was floating in heaven. He is so amazing with his tongue and his magic fingers. We fooled around for hours until he said we had a meeting with Joel and Charlotte today! I got into the shower first and he jumped in too.

He washed my body and I returned the favour.

“I can get use to this. I love you more Hunter”

“I doubt it babe”

We made our way to the Alpha Office and noticed that Layla and Leo were there as well! I had no clue what this meeting was about.

“Hunter darling, what’s this meeting about?”

“Yeah Hunter, I was hoping to relax today, im a little too tired for a family meeting” charlotte sighed and crossed her arms looking annoyed.

“Just sit down will you and listen. Mum, Dad I have an idea that I think you will like in theory but not practically! But I need you to keep an open mind, ok?”

“Ok son. What’s the idea”

“Well, I’m not ready to lose my highly annoying sister to another pack, Joel’s mentioned that he really likes it here but needs to make a decision on whether he stays with us or takes Charlotte back to Hidden Valley”

“We havnt even discussed this amongst us yet Hunter”

He cut her off! “ I know, Joel and I spoke about my idea yesterday and he’s ok with it so I wanted to see if you are too. How do you feel about being a Co-Alpha / Luna by joining packs with me?”

“Umm what do you mean join packs?”

“We almost have enough evidence to take over White Moon Pack and I want you guys to take over as Alpha and Luna. Then when I take over here, we merge the 2 packs into one. Build a new pack house in the middle of both territories which will become one and that way we can stay together as a family and become even stronger than what we are now. I’ve heard of a family in the US do this and it’s worked for them and it’s starting to become a thing now. We have the resources and connections to do it and we will give the members of White Moon a new life/ new beginning.”

Am I hearing this right? He wants to merge two packs together. Far out this is massive. Charlotte looks like the blood has drained from her face. She’s actually speechless. Alpha Leo is grinning from ear to ear and Layla Luna is smiling graciously. Surely she has seen this with her sight?

“Son, this is brilliant. I don’t know how it will work but I like it. I love the idea that we will all be together as one and you both can still have your own packs to lead however you will need clear rules and guidelines for each pack to follow. This needs a lot of planning boy, it won’t be easy but if anyone can do it, it will be you!”

“It won’t be easy but the 4 of them can do it. I’ve had a glimpse of what we could be. There’s a couple of paths for Charlotte and Joel can take”

“MUM AS IF YOU HAVNT SAID ANYTHING?!”

“I don’t interfere with your choices unless I think you are taking the wrong one and still I don’t take that lightly. Sometimes there’s bad paths we need to take to get to the good ones” she winked at Charlotte.

Hunter looked annoyed! And then just continued.

“I know it won’t be easy, we don’t need to speak about the logistics now but I think having everyone on board is a start. Charlotte and Joel will be responsible for all members of the White Moon Pack and Alyra and I will be responsible for Black Moon. But as a whole pack, we all make decisions together and then I’ll have the final say. Does this sound fair?”

“Where do I sign” Joel was all for it but Charlotte looked confused.

“Charz, I need to know what you are thinking”

“I, umm, I. Are you sure this is what you want? I thought you couldn’t wait for the day to get rid of me!”

“I am 100% sure, I told you yesterday, as much as you annoy the living daylights out of me, I don’t want you to leave.”

“Honestly, I wasn’t ready to leave which is why I’ve avoided the conversation with Joel” she turned bright pink, Joel picked her up and spun her around saying he loved her and loved being here with her. My heart melted at the two of them. They were so perfect for each other, the Moon Goddess knows what she’s doing!

“Ok well that settles it then. I’ve got my guy reporting to me tomorrow, if we have enough evidence we will be taking over this week. You two will go there and settle in with the pack, let them know of our plans for the future and just build a relationship with them. It’s going to be tough but I know you guys will rock it”

Charlotte gave Hunter and I a hug and whispered “thank you”

I loved this idea, I feel connected to Charlotte and I love being around Joel, so this was perfect.

“Mate is smart, very smart. His idea to join packs will make us a more powerful pack” “Mae, I was starting to worry I hadn’t heard from you all day!”

“I’m ok Alyra, just needed some rest and I’ve been talking to Loki a lot”

“Wow I didn’t know you two could talk as well. That’s soo cool”

“We are mates, of course we can talk”

I rolled my eyes at her.

I waited for Joel and Charlotte to leave and then turned around and just spat out “is my dad dead?” I couldn’t hold it in anymore.

Luna Layla’s face dropped like something had hit her.

“Sweetie, why don’t you go and have a rest we can speak about last night tomorrow”

“I’m good, I want to talk about it now! I know you had a meeting with the council this morning, you would have had to report it since both Alpha’s are dead and Moon Shine Pack needs a leader”

“You are very wise my dear, yes you are right. Leo and I spoke to the council this morning and have addressed it. They are sending a temporary Alpha for the time being until they can locate a relative of Alpha Blood otherwise we can choose one for them. We want no part of choosing and have left that to the council”

“Good! However I’d like to go see the pack myself, there were a few omegas there that I’d like to offer a home here if that’s ok with you?”

“Sweetie, this will be yours and Hunters pack in the next 6 months, you can invite anyone you wish to be apart of our pack”

“Thank you. So, is he dead? Just tell me, I really don’t care whether he is or not, but I need to know”

“Sweetie, he was severely injured and out of good will we have him here in our hospital. I wanted to tell you tomorrow and see if you wanted to see him?”

“Right! Umm I’m not sure if I have anything left to tell him. But I will think about it. Did we have any deaths?”

“No deaths, just injured and they are all already almost healed”

“Thank you Layla, I really needed that debrief. I’ve been thinking about it all day and I wanted to know if there were any families that needed my condolences. I’m really happy no one was severely hurt on our end”

She smiled at me and I turned around and left. Hunter followed me speechless, I’m not sure what he was thinking but I know he didn’t expect me to ask those questions. We got to our room and I collapsed on our bed. I really did need a rest. Hunter sat next to me and pulled me in for a long, sexy kiss.

“ You know you amaze me? You are going to be so respected not only as our Luna but as you, Alyra”

“Why do you say that?”

“Because of how much you care about everyone here. Wanting to go oh your respects to the families if they had lost anyone last night, that makes a respectful being. That makes me fall in love with you over and over. I didn’t think I could love you anymore that I already do and then you go and amaze me like that”

“Hunter, it’s my fault Black Moon was in the fight last night, it would have been the right thing to do”

“We will fight together. You are Black Moons next Luna, we will fight for you and protect you with everything we have.”

I couldn’t help be absolutely smitten with Hunter, he made me feel wanted and safe. I needed a shower so I slowly started undressing myself catching his attention

“Baby, you know we have a family dinner to get to, if you start this I think we might miss it”

I winked at him brushing my hand through his hair as I walked in to the bathroom and turned the shower on. Hunter was behind me naked, didn’t take him long to catch up.

“Wink at me again” his face was bursting with emotions, so I winked at him again laughing and he pushed me into the shower and picked me up entering me in one quick move. He completed me and knew exactly where to hit my spot every time. He had me screaming his name and orgasming in minutes. I don’t know how he does it to me but I never want it to stop.

My fingers were wrinkled by the time he was done with me. I looked at the time and we were late.

“Babe come on, we need to get to dinner” Hunter was taking his time, for a guy he took a long time to get ready.

“Ummm lovers, I thought I was bad! We are all waiting for you and Jesse keeps asking where you are” Mila linked me, she’s coming to family dinner? How much more awesome could this pack be? They know how much Mila means to me and have welcome her as part of their family too. I couldn’t be any more happy than I am right now. Dinner was amazing, everyone was laughing and telling jokes and little Jesse was having a ball dancing, this is how it should have always been. I sat down next to Mila and gave her a squeeze

“Tomorrow we are going for a gelato and you are going to tell me everything!!! From being mates with Eric to where you are with the Beta Role”

“I’m down for gelato’s and catch ups, but I’m still unsure about being a female Beta”

“Tomorrow! The Gelato will fix it!”

I then linked Layla “Would it be strange if we officially welcomed Mila and Jesse to our pack now?”

“Not at all dear, I’ll conjure the knife now if Mila is up to it?”

“I was kind of hoping to surprise her?”

“Leave it to me!”

A purple mist appeared over the dinner table, everything disappeared and then slowly I seen a vine growing and mason jars with fairy lights were popping up. There were mini fireworks and then the knife started glowing in the centre of the table. I smiled and look at Mila and whispered. “Are you ready to join the pack?”
