** Mila’s POV**

“Are you ready to join the pack?”

Ahhhhhhhhh what? Alyra’s words were a blur. I couldn’t keep my eyes off the purple mist, it took me back to the day Luna and the Queen teleported to save us! I can’t believe that was only like a few days ago! It seems so long ago! I met my amazing Mate Eric. He’s so dreamy and he loves Jesse, he plays with him and has been talking about wanting to be his legal guardian. I have made an appeal to the council and Hunter’s Grandfather has told me that my dad never submitted Jesse’s birth certificate to the council. So in the human world, Jesse does no exist! Just like my father intended! I couldn’t hate him anymore than I do, I hope he’s rotting in hell.

“Mila, did you hear what I said?”

Oh s**t, I was in my own world I didn’t realise I didn’t answer Alyra”

“Umm yeah? Ahh actually, sorry! I was in my own world, what did you say?”

Alyra smiled and said “Are you ready to join us?”

“Ohhhh!! YES!!! Of course I am, I’m never leaving you Al, and I can never be apart from Eric. I owe so much already to this pack. PLUS, this pack is so freaking awesome and Jesse loves it here, I really do think he’s witch, so he will be able to get proper training.”

“Well then, LETS DO THIS!!” Charlotte was clapping and cheering, I don’t know why she was so excited. Jesse was dancing around saying “me too, me too” did we have to cut his hand too? Oh god I hope not. Layla had Picked Jesse up and spun him around as he laughed.

“I’m so happy you are both finally home, I wish your mother was here. She would be so proud of you both! This is where you belong. Mila we will be doing a traditional wolf joining ceremony and a witch one as well. You both have your mothers blood and her bloodline is within our pack. Would you like it to be just us family or with the pack included?

Tears fell down my face and I had a knot in my throat I couldn’t talk. I ran up to her and hugged her, she called us her family.

“I don’t know how to ever repay you for your kindness and acceptance into your family”

“Sweetie, your mother was my best friend and my sister. Which makes you my family. Just like Alyra is family to you”

I kept hugging her, she reminded me of how mum felt when I hugged her. I wish we had come here sooner, I wish mum could have survived and come with us. I feel her presence here. I never felt it like this before, it’s like her spirit was set free and she came home and now we are here I can feel her too. I wonder if Layla or the Queen can call upon the spirits? I’ll have to ask Charlotte, right now I’m getting a pack.

“Ok, I’m done now with the water works, I’m ready to be home, officially!”

Eric came and held my hand and took Jesse from Layla and we made our way to the garden, there were a few of the pack members I had met earlier today after Eric and I finally detached plus all of my family including my uncle. It was perfect. Charlotte was jumping around and then screamed “ARE YOU READY??”

I laughed and said “Yes I am” she squeeled so loud I think she pierced my ear drum! She clapped her hands and spoke a few words and then the most amazing thing happened! Vines were growing and fairy lights appeared.

“I didn’t know you could use magic too?”

“Ahh der, I’m a hybrid like my mumma. Of course I can use magic, we all can.”

I don’t know why it never occurred to me that they could use magic, I don’t think Alyra knew that Hunter could apart from his calming cool hands as she calls them. I knew they had special gifts but I didn’t know they could use elements to perform, well, THIS!

Alpha Leo cleared his throat and everyone started taking their seats.

“We have come together as a family tonight to welcome the 2 beautiful children of our beloved Chloe Lakers. Mila And Jesse Romira, do you pledge loyalty to the Black Moon Pack?”

Both Jesse and I said “We do”

“Today we will be performing both wolf and witch traditions. Blood to Blood and Light to Light.” He pricked Jesse’s hand and cut mine and his hand and shook our hands. I felt the pack aura enter me and Alyra’s voice was in my head. Goddess I’ve missed this! Luna Layla came forward with a gold goblet. She then linked me to hold my hand over and to drop 3 drops of my blood into it. Jesse knew what to do as well, she must have linked him too. Then last the Alpha and Luna dropped 3 drops of their blood and that gorgeous purple mist appeared again lifted the goblet up in the air.

“Earth to Earth, Moon to Moon. We welcome the blood of The Dutchess and Duke, Mila and Jesse Laker”

Umm excuse me? Dutchess and Duke? There’s more to my mum that they are telling his. Bloody hell were we royalty as well? I need a break! This is just f*****g great! None of this is making sense and all I want to do right now is f**k my mate senseless!

Then all the sudden both Jesse and I were glowing a light green. What is going on?

“Black Moon, our Prince and Princess have ignited their powers passed onto them from their Mother, our Princess Chloe. Bow and honour their titles within our pack”

Everyone bowed and my mind was filled with voices. How do I shut these out? Everyone was congratulating me and I didn’t know how to respond. I just found out I was a royalty and I have powers, does this mean I am a hybrid too?

“Sweetie are you ok?”

“I don’t know? Am I a hybrid? Was mum? Ok tomorrow, we are talking this through. Right now I want to get to my room”

“Your mother was my half sister Mila. Tomorrow, Mum and I will explain everything. Don’t you worry about little Jesse, we are having another sleepover”

“You don’t need to do that Layla, i was going to put his cot in the room next to us tonight.”

“We can work that out tomorrow, I know what you are feeling right now and you don’t need an audience” she winked at me!

Oh goddess, my cheeks were burning, she knew what I wanted to do to my Eric.

“Baby, we need to go back to our room now!”

I shut the door and undressed so fast, my need for Eric was thrilling but aching at the same time, I’ve never experienced this feeling before but I wasn’t complaining. Eric was so in tune with my body and knew exactly what to do. He completed me in a way if never imagined.

Eric was taking his time going slow but my need was so intense I took over and rode him like a bull. The next morning I woke up with a need again! What the hell was happening? I found out I was the Dutchess and Layla is actually my Aunt? I’m a hybrid? Which means I have powers too? Oh god it was too much! I’ll find out later from the Queen and Layla right now I have something to take care of.

“Well, I guess I have something to tell you but I’m not going ahead with it! Hunter asked me to be his beta female but It doesn’t feel right. I’m a female! We don’t get high ranks like a Beta unless we mate to one!”

“Excuse me what?! Who the hell told you that garbage? Babe!! This is MASSIVE! You definitely have it in you to be the beta! You are smart, funny and you are a strong fighter. You would be silly to not do it and I’ll be right by your side holding your hand”

“Well, that’s what Moon Shine always told us. We were not allowed to be of high ranks. I was just the Gamma’s daughter. My Job was to go to school and look after Jesse”

“Those fuckers, if I could kill them again I would! Babe, I swear to you, you will be highly respected as Beta, our pack is different we respect all Pack members and their ranks. You should compete for Beta, you will smash it and you are the next heir. It makes sense!”

“Do you really think I can do it?”

“I don’t think, I know! I’m meeting with Hunter in 15 Minutes, come with me and tell him you accept the offer to compete as Beta Female.”

“You will stand by me?”

“I wouldn’t have it any other way, Beta or not, I’ll always have your six. And if you don’t accept it, you are the Lead Warriors Mate, you could always go for the Female Lead Warrior Title after graduation”

“ you are amazing baby, I love you”

“And I love you” he kissed me and we quickly got ready and met with Hunter in his office.

I walked into the office and locked eyes with Alyra and linked her “do you think I really could be a Beta”

“HELL YES! Please tell me you are going to do the challenge?”

“Well Eric thinks I’d be amazing at it and it won’t hurt to try, right?”

“Right, eeeek I’m excited. Can’t wait for gelatos later”

“Can we go clothes shopping too?”

“Yep! It’s a date”

“Morning Guys, you ready for our meeting?” Hunter looked at Eric like he let a grenade off”

“What meeting?”

“The one with council to go over everything we have on White Moon so we can take over?”

Hunters face dropped! “f**k! How did I forget this?”

“ I don’t know many but your Mum and Dad are coming in now so look like you know what’s going on”

I kissed Eric goodbye and linked him “I’ll do it! We can tell Hunter later”
