Mila kissed Eric goodbye and I linked her “As the future Beta, you should stay”

“I haven’t told Hunter yet, so I’ll sit this one out.”

I winked at her and linked Hunter to ask Mila to stay. “Babe, Mila’s leaving, she should stay if she’s going to be our Beta” he gave me the cheekiest smile like he had just won the lottery.

“ Mila, please join the meeting, as the mate of the Lead Warrior, I’d like you to be here” He was pointing to the seat next to Eric. I couldn’t help but smile at her and she blushed. I’m so happy she has found her place here, she was always meant for big things and our pack is going to let her come out of her shell.

Alpha Leo addressed the meeting with the council and announced we were going to take over White Moons pack and surrender the Current Alpha if he comes willingly otherwise he will have to take force it kill.

Hunter stood up and was fuming “I will kill the son of a b***h and when I’m finished with this meeting you will agree”

“Please make your case, Future Alpha Hunter”

“As you are aware, we have a spy in the White Moon pack who has been reporting back to me. I have substantial information that the Alpha is mistreating his she-wolfs allowing those unmated to be harmed and taken full advantage of without their consent. I will email you the photos and video we have to support this matter. We also suspected that they have been selling unmated pack members to the underground as slaves. I don’t have evidence of this, however my spy has noticed that those who have gone to the dungeons have not come back. I will leave this to the council to investigate further, however I don’t plan on keeping any leaders of the White Moon pack alive!

“It seems that these photos are evidence that White Moon pack are mistreating their unmated she-wolfs, this alone is enough for you to take over the pack! This video you have, grants you to end the lives of anyone in authority within the pack! This will not stand! Take prisoners and give the pack a new leadership. I trust you already have plans for this?”

“My sister, Charlotte and her mate, Joel Beard, brother of Alpha Ryan of the Hidden Valley Pack will be taking over. Charlotte will make the perfect Luna and nurture those who have been affected. Our Spy said that most of the pack are scared and stay to themselves. It’s a very sad environment and I believe my sister and Joel have what that pack needs. We plan to emerge what’s left of the White Moon pack with Black Moon and expand our territories as one when I take my place as Alpha”

“This is very interesting, I’ve heard great things with packs overseas merging family packs. If anyone can do it, I trust that your family can. I wish you good luck and would like a full statement by the end of the week.”

Just like that, the council meeting was over. Do they just give us what we want? Is Black Moon that powerful?

“Did they seriously just agree without questions?”

Layla took my hand and said “Sweetie, we are quite known in the supernatural world, being a royal family gives us authority. We lead by example and the council will back us 100% as long as we have evidence”

Of course! Why wouldn’t they back them, these beings are freaking amazing and I get to call them my family. I smiled at Layla and then gave her a hug.

“What was that for sweetie?”

“I just felt the need to hug you. For helping this pack and for helping Moon Shine. I know you have arranged for the council to send them a new Alpha. They desperately need it and for allowing me to go back there and offer a place here with me to those I want. I just wish I’d known you all sooner”

“Everything is just the way it should be. All in good time, my dear. I have the ability to see things, and trust that each individual will take the right path, as you did. I can interfere but it needs to be life or death.”

“I understand, I still wish Mila and I got out sooner”

Her beautiful nature and her smile just made me feel like I belonged. And I really did.

“Alright Miss, don’t you have a girls date to get to?” Hunter nudged me and pointed to Mila.

“I sure do!! Come on Mila, let’s go!”

Hunter pulled me in for a breathtaking kiss that I nearly fell over. I giggled when I regained myself. He handed me a card with my name on it.

“No I can’t use this, I have to earn my keep” Hunter growled and hushed me!

I’m taking you out for dinner tonight, so you will need something nice to wear” his eyes were sparkling, he had so much lust in his eyes I wanted to jump him.

“Dinner? As in a date?”

Holy s**t!! Hunters taking me out on a date. I think my face was as bright as a tomato! Mila linked arms with me laughing as a we headed to the front of the pack house. A black Jeep SUV rolled up and a omega handed me the keys. “Here you go, this one is all set up for you and Miss Mila for the Day. I’ve programmed all the numbers you need into the built in phone and there’s a handset to go as well”

“Wow thank you, ehhh sorry I don’t know your name”

“It’s Arlo, you are welcome my future Luna”

“Call me Alyra, thanks so much Arlo! Will we see you when we get back?”

“ I’ll be here, have fun ladies”

I’ve never driven a Jeep before, actually, I didn’t even know where the shops were! I waved Arlo closer and wound down the window “Umm Arlo, where’s the shops? Do I have to leave the estate?”

“You can if you want to but we have our own shopping centre in the estate, touch the screen and your GPS will tell you where to go, Hunter had me put in a few favourites so you could get around”

“Well isn’t this a little fancy! Hahaha thanks so much Arlo, seriously you are a lifesaver. I’ve got no sense of direction so this is perfect.”

I waved goodbye and followed the GPS. How big is this territory? It’s saying we are 5km away from our destination!

Mila had the biggest smile on her face I could tell she was bursting with happiness.

“Ahhhhhhh can you believe this is our life now? Fancy cars, shopping sprees in our own territory, or estate as the Lorna’s like to call it!! We f*****g hit the Jackpot Al. Like seriously! You are going to be the Luna, I’m mated to the most perfectly sculptured man I’ve ever laid eyes and I’m going to be a BETA! A BETA! ME! Oh and not to mention I’m a freaking HYBRID!!! “I know. It’s so weird. I can feel her here. I don’t know what it is but I can smell her. The same coconut and honey smell I remember Mum smelling like. I wanted to talk to Luna Layla about it. Im wondering if it’s part of my gift, that’s if I have one. Ohhh and I’m half Royal too! Luna Layla is my Aunt. Which really now officially makes us family”

“These last few days have been a trip! So much has come out and I think it’s just the beginning. Come on we are here. Let’s get shopping. Hunter gave me his card and told me I have to buy a dress for our dinner date tonight”

“ Eric did the same but I feel bad. I want to pay him back.”

We went to a few shops but I didn’t like anything. Mila bought a few crop tops and jean shorts. I liked more sporty clothes so I got some new colourful yoga pants, singlets and a new pair of Nike runners.

“Let’s go and get some sexy lingerie and make our wolves eyes pop out”

The girl at the cash register was starting to annoy me! I could tell she was a wolf and was giving me evil looks! I’ll have to find out more about her, something feels off! I bet Charlotte would know. I pulled out my phone and sent her a text. She answered back saying. “Get the f**k away from her, she’s bad news. She’s thinks Hunters her mate” I Sighed, great! I linked Mila to tell her that this shop means trouble and we gotta go! She linked me back “who am I giving a black eye to? No ones going to want to mess with us. She’s f*****g dreaming”

I love how upfront and mouthy Mila is.

“Hunter is going to rip these apart in a second you know that right?” She said it out loud so cruella could hear. I rolled my eyes and went to go pay for my things.

An alarm went off in the store and 5 security guards came running in!

“There they are! They are stealing! Quick” you have got to be kidding me!!

The men came straight to us and grabbed our arms and put us in cuffs.

“Get off me, we are not stealing we were trying them on and going to pay for them as the alarms went off”

“Save your lies for the Alpha”

“ you will pay for this you b***h! He doesn’t want you! I know you are obsessed with Hunter that’s why you are doing this”

I growled so loud I wanted to rip her throat out. The security guard holding my arms was struggling to hold me back!

“This is a mistake! I am your future Luna, you better release us now or Hunter will kill you all!”

“Save it lady, Hunter hasn’t met his mate yet!”

“Where have you guys been hiding the last few days? The pack knows Hunter has found his mate! There was a ceremony and everything. Just wait until he hears about this. You are all dead!!!”

Mila cackled and I couldn’t agree more. I wanted this guy to pay! He’s hurting my wrists and I’m not like one bit. That b***h be crazy, she’s f****d now! We got to the security office and was put in a cell.

“I demand you to call your manager, or better yet. Call Hunter or Alpha Leo!”

“Whatever, just shut up and let me do my job! Thieves stay in this cell one night and then are taken to the pack dungeon and Alpha Leo decides on your punishment. See you in the morning. Don’t get too comfy” he laughed and slammed the door shut! The asshole took my phone.

“Do you think we can link them from here?” Mila shrugged and look like her head was about to burst. I tried to link Hunter “Babe can you hear me?”

“ I sure can Angel, have you found the perfect dress yet?”

“Ahhh no! Something happened and..” he cut me off.

“Nothing better have happened! Where are you?”

“Umm in a cell?” He growled through our link and shut me out. Next minute I heard Hunter growling and he shouted, “where is she? What have you done to my mate?”

The asshole who put us in here replied “ your mate? But, but you don’t have a mate.” His voice was breaking like he was shitting his pants. I bet he actually did! Fucker has no chance! The door exploded open and there he was looking sexy as f**k. I want to f**k him now. Mila nudged me.

“I can smell your arousal, calm your farm!” She laughed and then she was aroused! Eric stormed in behind Hunter looking like he had ripped through a few of the guards too. I rolled my eyes at her and she shushed me.

“Someone better open these gates and release your future Luna and Beta”

I heard gasps and both Mila and I smirked. I ran into Hunter arms and linked him “my knight in shiny armour, take me home now. Deal with this fuckwits later. Shimmy us home”

“Alfred. Tomorrow, my office! I want answers! No one touches my mate and puts her in a cell! Got it?”

“Yes Alpha. Sorry Alpha, I should have checked who they brought in”

“Deal with this, Alfred. I want the ones who took them behind bars tonight, I’ll deal with them tomorrow”

He swooped me into his arms and told
