“What’s his name?”

“Loki, he wants to meet his mate but he says you need to join our pack first, I noticed your Amber eyes, are they not your real colour? What’s happening?”

We sat down on the couch and I explained what happened and I could feel his Anger building up and then started mumbling to himself about someone coming.

It was his sister Charlotte wanting to meet me! “It’s fine, let her in. We can talk about this later. I kissed his cheek and I could see him calming down.

“Well hello there, I’m Charlotte. Grumpy pants has been searching for you for almost 2 years. Thank Goddess you came with my wolfie over here!” I smiled at Joel and I was so happy Charlotte is his mate.

“So!!! You boys need to leave! Mum told me we have a new pack member to welcome into our pack! We need to get our princess ready” she pushed them out the door and I was so confused as to why everyone was calling me the princess. She went into Joel’s wardrobe and pulled out 3 dress gowns. Why were they In there?

“I bought these last week, I had a vision of Hunter and his mate but it was unclear of who she was. And here you are. I’m so excited! But babe, why are you rogue?” “I declared myself Rogue and left my pack. They were forcing me to mate and be marked by the future Alpha!”

“Are you friggen kidding me? I will kill them all!” I laughed and thought to myself she’s like the sister I never had.

I tried on all the dresses and the last dress was perfect. It was an off the shoulder emerald dress with lace pattern down the side with a small train. Charlotte was squeeling that made both Hunter and Joel barrel into the room.

Hunter was growling for them to get out but Charlotte pushed him out. “Get a grip! You can do whatever you want with her once we have her ceremony.”

“Ceremony?” I was confused. I thought it was just a small ritual to officially welcome me into the pack?

“Don’t worry it’s nothing more than a ritual to welcome you as a member of our pack and Hunters Mate”

She started doing my hair and makeup and escorted me to a gorgeous garden with all of Black Moon’s Pack members. I started to panic, my insides started bubbling and my heart rate was increasing every step I took. I felt Hunters hand reach me and everything drifted away. He took me to the stage where his father stood and addressed the pack.

“I stand before you to welcome our newest member of the Black Moon pack, Alyra Hannah, also our future Luna as the fated mate of my son Hunter. Alyra, do you pledge loyalty to the Black Moon Pack?”

“I do” He got a ceremony knife and cut his palm and handed it over for me to do the same. OUCH that stung, lucky we heal quickly! I took his hand a swore my loyalty and role as future Luna.

An aura filled me and I heard the pack congratulating and welcoming me through our link. Alpha Leo then welcomed Joel as the mate of Charlotte. The pack howled and everyone was clapping.

Hunter linked me “are you ready to run?” I nodded! Mae was so excited to meet Loki and run with him. Hunter’s dad shifted first and lead the pack into a run. Hunter and I quickly followed and Mae howled back chasing Loki through the Forrest. Loki was so playful. He was all Black with a silver chest. I’ve never seen an Alpha wolf that wasn’t all black. This pack is different to most traditional packs! They also have gifts from the goddess. I wonder what Hunter has.

Loki took us to a private area of the estate near a lake and shifted back to Hunter, Mae gave me back control and Shifted. I didn’t have to hide behind a tree to quickly change. I was so comfortable with Hunter I could be my true self and no one was judging my body.
