Graduation was coming up so quickly and Mila wanted to go dress shopping, after the last shopping adventure I didn’t venture out without Hunter anymore.

“Hunter and I are going to the shopping centre on Saturday, do you want to come? Eric can come too and keep Hunter company while we find our dresses.

“I was kind of hoping to have a girls day but I guess that could work too”

I felt horrible, but she didn’t ask any questions. We went into first period and Charlotte looked like she wanted to rip someone’s head off.

“Ummm Charz are you ok?” She was muttering something under her breath.

“Yeah I’m good”

“Doesn’t look like it. Are you and Eric ok?” She gave me a sincere look, I knew it was Eric so someone has pissed her off at school.

“It’s not Eric. It’s those b***h face she wolfs pissing me off with there banter. I swear I hope when Hunter is Alpha he bans them from our pack. I can’t stand them and if he doesn’t ban them, I can’t promise I won’t kill them.”

She said it loud enough that with our super hearing she turned a few heads. I saw Eric’s little brother smile and rub his hands together, he knows what’s going on and I’ll get to the bottom of it. I hate when my family is upset and no one upsets my family and friends.

After first period, she stormed out so I held back and stopped Eric’s little brother Arlo.

“So do I have to command you to tell me who’s pissed Charlotte off or are you going to spill the beans?”

He laughed and gave me a smirk.

“Oh I think you have twisted my arm my Luna”

“Alyra. Call me Alyra”

He cleared his throat and spoke softly.

“Luna, Alyra. You see those 3 girls over there? They keep saying that the tall b***h face brunette is taking Hunter to the graduation ball”

Pretty sure steam was coming out of my ears at what Liam just said!

“Excuse me, what?”

“I believe b***h heads name is Rhianna. She’s obsessed with your mate and is always flirting with him, he of course is oblivious to it and doesn’t even acknowledge her. It’s quite funny actually!”

“How many more are OBSESSED WITH MY MATE???? Do they ever learn?”

“This is why Charlotte is pissed off. She overheard them at the lockers this morning talking about how Hunter is apparently going to the ball with her. Obviously she’s a compulsive liar and my little sister in law is a bad ass b***h and almost broke her nose.”

“HA! That’s f*****g hilarious, I wish she did break her nose.. maybe I’ll finish it off for her!”

I walked straight up to this Rhianna girl and tapped her shoulder. She turned around amd gave me a disgusted look.

“What’s this I hear you saying you are going to the ball with MY mate?”

“Your mate? I think not, you will never be his mate. He thinks I’m funny and he asked ME to the ball!”

I started laughing at her! Her friends looked a bit scared of me and well she seemed a little uncomfortable.

“You better quit your nonsense or you won’t have a pack to come back to, got it?”

“Hunter will never kick me out. Our families have been close since we were born. You are the one that needs to go!”

I felt my face turn red and I formed a fist. Before I knew it, I punched her nose and heard a loud crack and then a piercing scream!

“Take this as your last warning! Stay the hell away from my mate”

I walked away and Arlo was clapping and cheering behind me

“Take that b***h, our Luna is feisty”

I couldn’t help but giggle at him. That felt so good to click that b***h. I returned to class and got on with it.

I looked at the time, today was dragging and I really couldn’t be bothered, I just wanted to be in Hunters arms and claim him after this morning’s fiasco. My phone beeped, it was Hunter.

Meet me at the gates in 5 minutes

Is he here? What the hell. He never comes to school.

Ok. Is everything ok? Why didn’t you mind link me?

There was no reply. I excused myself from class. Being the future Luna, none of the teachers asked any questions. I walked quickly to the gates, he was already waiting. He looked angry but HOT AS f**k!

“Hey babe, this is a nice surprise, especially after the morning I’ve had”

“What the hell were you thinking? You broke her nose! Her dad is fuming and wants dad to punish you for it. What the hell Alyra!”

Umm what? This is now my fault? He didn’t call me Angel, he used my name. I could feel my eyes tearing up.

“I don’t understand, she’s the one who started it, I was just” he cut me off.

“She started it? Are you f*****g serious right now? You are her future Luna and you broke her nose and humiliated her in front of the whole school”

“Well that’s not entirely true Hunter! I can’t believe you are being like this without even asking me what happened. Instead you are taking her side and yelling at me! f**k!” I ran away from him, I could hear him yelling for me but I ignored him and went straight into the girls toilets and locked myself in there. I balled my eyes out and and could hear someone entering so I tried to be quiet. Mila linked me

“Al are you ok? Where are you! Hunter is going off outside the school gates”

“Tell him to shove it where the sun don’t shine! I’m not coming out”

“Babe! What happened tell me where you are!”

“I just want to be alone Mila, please tell him to go away. I don’t want to talk to him”

“Ok, but please tell me where you are, charlottes looking for you, she said she can shimmy us away from here”

“Really? If she can get me as far away from Hunter then she can come get me in the girls toilets”

I heard footsteps and knew Charlotte and Mila were here. I opened the door and they both hugged me

“My brother is an absolute f*****g asshole sometimes. Arlo told me what happened with Rhianna. Im so proud of you! She needs to be put in her place. She thinks she’s Hunters mate. Another dumb ass b***h!”

I started wailing even more. Flashbacks of Hunters face and him yelling at me kept replaying in my head.

“Can you get me out of here?”

“Sure, where are we going?”

“Anywhere! Just away from Hunter”

“I have the perfect spot, grab my hands”

We all held hands and a beautiful purple mist appeared and we were swallowed by it, I couldn’t see anything but my head was spinning and then we landed on sand. Where the hell were we? I couldn’t focused but it was hot wherever we were.

“Was that your first time?”

“Yep, woah that was different. I need to sit down. Where are we?”

“Welcome to my family’s private island in Fiji”

“Did you say FIJI???!!!”

Charlotte nodded and I felt faint! How the hell did we get here so quick? It felt like seconds ago we were at school and now we are in FIJI! Holy s**t. I think I like this teleporting thing!

“Ummm so you can take us anywhere in the world with your misty stuff?”

Charlotte started laughing and started walking towards a hut.

“Come on girls, the party starts now. Everything is stocked here and the wardrobes are full, so you can just choose what you want from mums or my bedroom.”

She pointed to the rooms and then went to the kitchen and started making us cocktails.

“Thanks for getting me out Charlotte. I couldn’t face him, not like that. He didn’t even ask me what happened. He just yelled at me” I started crying again.

“No worries sis! I will always back you 100% for putting bitches in their place! I want her banned from the pack”

I could feel Hunter tugging on our link but I had shut him out.

“Mate is worried about us, he needs to know we are ok. Loki can’t connect with me either, you shut both our links off”

“They can suffer together!! He shouldn’t have spoken to us like that. He was so angry Mae. I can’t handle that type of Anger especially when I did nothing wrong!”

“I know. He was in the wrong, Loki was arguing with him. He told me to apologise to you. He knows we didn’t do anything wrong and he said he would have done the same! Unlike Hunter, Loki asked me what happened.”

“Well at least half our mate is wise! I’m sorry Mae but I don’t know how to open the link to just Loki without letting them both back in. I just can’t right now ok?”

“Could you at least try?”

I closed my eyes and tried to remove the block from Loki but I could feel Hunter trying to get through again. I couldn’t risk it!

“I’m sorry Mae. Maybe later ok? Hunters not giving in right now”

“It’s ok, I understand. I don’t want to talk to him either”

I was feeling a bit tipsy, how many have I had? Mila cranked the music up and we were dancing on the deck looking out to the water. It was so beautiful and peaceful here. I couldn’t help but feel sad that Hunter wasn’t here with me. I shook my head and continued to dance with my best friends. Charlotte has become my closest friend the last few months. She has been busy organising the graduation ball with the events committee plus helping Layla with the Luna Ceremony. We had set a date for Hunter and I to take over the pack and complete the Alpha and Luna Ceremony on the same night. It’s 2 weeks after graduation and now I’m not even sure if it’s going ahead.

“Charlotte, do you think Hunter has changed his mind and not want me to be his Luna?”

“How could you even think that Al? My brother might be an i***t right now but he loves you so much. There’s not a doubt in my mind”

“I hope so. He was just so angry!”

“Do you want to talk to him? He’s giving me a headache and your phone has not stopped vibrating. I had to let him know where we are but I told him not to come. I told him to just give you a night and we will call him tomorrow. But if you are ready we can do it now?”

“No, I’m not ready for him to yell at me again”

“He won’t be yelling, I can promise you that! He’s kicking his own backside now. Arlo told him what happened”

“Ok. Maybe tomorrow. Right now I just can’t face him”

I went and found some bathers and took off to the ocean. The sand was white and the water was crystal clear, I could see some reef Sharks swimming around and little fish around me. I linked Charlotte to see if they had any snorkels. I’ve always wanted to go snorkelling but we never went on family holidays, actually we never really left the pack unless it was an allies event.

The girls joined me with snorkels, I was beyond excited and Mila was running in the water.

“Do you remember that movie we watched when we were like 10 about the divers? We better see a turtle!”

“Yeah I remember, I saw some reef Sharks over there, they are pretty harmless but let’s just not go over there ok?”

Charlotte took over and directed us.

“Over this way, there’s some pretty awesome coral, the reef Sharks won’t come near us as they sense our wolves so don’t worry too much about them”

It was absolutely incredible, rainbow coral all different shapes and sizes, there was a school of Angel fishes and some clown fishes swimming around us. Out the corner of my eyes I seen an eel swimming away, it must be scared of us too. I dove down to get a closer look at the coral, it was so magical and colourful I wish I had a camera. I guess since this was Hunters family holiday house, we could come back. Oh Hunter! I miss his scent, I want to be near him. I started to go back to shore and the girls followed me back in.

“Are you ok Al?”

“Yeah that was amazing but I’m missing Hunter” I tear slid down my face. I think I’m just going to go shower and have an early night. Thanks for everything girls, I don’t know what I would do without you both”

“Anything you need, we are here. Always.”

I went inside and had a nice hot shower, there was so many of Hunters clothes in here. I could smell a faint scent, I grabbed his hoody and put it on and laid in bed.

“Mae, should I let him in?”

“Yes please. I miss Loki”

I let go of the block on Hunter. “Angel?”

I was shocked to hear him call me Angel within seconds of letting go of the wall I had put up between our links. I don’t know what to say.

“Angel please, say something”

“Hunter, I, I’m sorry”

“Angel please don’t apologise, it’s me that should be apologising. I should’ve spoken to you like that without hearing your side of the story first. I promise you I’ll never, never ever yell at you again”

“You hurt me”

“I know baby, I’m so angry at myself for believing them and not asking you what happened. I don’t know how but I’m going to make it up to you every single day for the rest of our lives. I love you my princess Angel. Please forgive me”

I was never angry at him, just sad and hurt that he had yelled at me. I would always forgive him.

“Hunter”

“Yes Angel?”

“Can you come to me?”

“If that’s what you want, I can”

“Yes please”

I link Mila to let her know Hunter was coming and to tell Charlotte. I’m sure we won’t be quite tonight. I see the corner of the room sparkling and then a purple mist appeared. I blinked a few times as it blurred my vision and in front of me stood my mate. I ran up to him and hugged him sobbing.

“I’m sorry my Angel. Please let me make it up to you”

I shushed him and locked my arms around him and kissed him passionately. It’s like my body was aching for him, I couldn’t resist, being apart from him, it was making me weak.
