But why?

Early the following morning Sasha woke up to the sound of drilling, she could also hear sounds of footsteps outside her window.

she sniffed and smelled a fresh baby's soap, confused she opened her eyes and stared in shock.

staring down at her were big round and probably the greenest eye she had ever seen.Then the face smiled at her revealing two missing from teeth.

" Nana says to wake you up so as to not be late for school" the little girl said.

Sasha could only stare.the little girl was beautiful.

she smiled at her and asked.

" what's your name?"

"I'm Mandy M A N D Y with a Y not I "

" okay Mandy with a y I'm Sasha nice to meet you,,now move along and tell Nana I'll be down in a few"

Mandy climbed out of the bed and started towards the door. she turned and looked at Sasha grinning widely

"Nuuh is going to be so mad if you make him late" she shut the door and Sasha could hear her footsteps down the stairs.

still confused as to who the hell Nooh or was it Nuuuh was, she went to the bathroom and began preparing for school.

several minutes later she went downstairs and walked straight to the kitchen.

the scent of freshly baked bread filled the kitchen.

Nana was busy drying up the cups and didn't hear her enter the kitchen.

Sasha cleared her throat and she turned

" ooh you're here, sit down and have some tea. seems like you're the last one to get up.

"ooh" sasha said as she looked at her watch, she hadn't realized it was that late. it was already ten o'clock.

" And Noah will be here soon so just hurry up since you will be riding with him to school today."

"Mandy got a little bit late today and missed the bus so he's just driven her to school "

Nana continued to rumble as she packed some sandwiches in a box.

Suddenly the door opened and a head popped in.

" Is she ready, I'm going to be late for class".

" Noah don't be rude, come say hello to Sasha.

" I'm already five minutes late so if I'm to make it to class then she better hurry the hell up".

Meanwhile Sasha had forgotten how to breath,so this was the 'Nuuh' that Mandy had told her would get mad if she was late, She stared with her mouth open towards the man standing by the door.

Her traced him down from head towards his chest.

Well the boy was really built.

"you like anything you seen?" a voice interrupted her thoughts. She looked away suddenly her ears turning red from embarrassment.

Noah smirked and looked at her. well He had that effect on the ladies and was well accustomed to it. He loved seeing the ladies go wild for him.

Sasha got up and picked her bag, she turned towards the door. " Don't Forget to eat the sandwich I made you , its in your bag pack" Nana shouted from the kitchen.

" what are you, five?" Noah sneered as he jumped into the drivers side of a red velvet car that seemed to have seen better days.

she had only met him for not more than five minutes and she already hated him.

She jerked the passenger door and was just about to get in when he signaled her to sit at the back.

she stood there confused.

" well are just going to stand there, get in I'm late"

Sasha walked back to the back opened the door and got in frowning.

what the hell was wrong with this boy.she wondered.

" f**k! not today Missy, not today" She heard Noah curse as he struggled to start the car.

ooh so the car had a name she wondered, what a weird guy!. suddenly the engine coughed and car started moving.

This was going to be a long day Sasha thought as they drove to school.

During the drive Noah had a good look at the girl through the driver's mirror.

She had seen her arrive the previous day with a huge luggage which could only mean that she was here to stay and for a while too.

well she wasn't too bad except for the bourjie dress code she could pass for a regular.

Noah eyed her more closely and saw that her lips were painted a shade red and so were her fingernails. so she was the bold type.

Though that hadn't come as a surprise to him, he hasn't imagined her shy.

she smelled money from the bag pack she was carrying to her shoes.

I wonder how long she will survive dressing like that.

Green Dale community college wasn't a place for people like her.

most of the students there were those who had not had the chance to get out of the wood and therefore were not friendly at all.

Himself he had had the chance to go to Harvard to study law but since their was nobody to look after his little sister he had opted to stay.

Sasha looked at him through the corners of her eyes and saw him watching her.

she pretended not to notice and looked outside the window.

In her mind she wasn't even there. she thought of Liam back in the City and how he was coping without her.

she thought of her old school and sighed

she wondered just how long it would take for her to adjust to this new college and if she would at all ever survive it.

she wasn't worried about her school work since she had been a good student back in Cambridge Uni. what worried her was the thought of being the new student.

The town seemed like a small one where everyone knew everybody and had probably known each other since they were in diapers.

"yeah I'll be there in a few,,just hold them back for a while" she heard Noah say on the phone.

"Get out,"

"what?"

" I said get out" I need to be somewhere now and its the other way. so get out" Noah said.

Sasha could not believe her ears.

" well..how do I get to school" she stammered.

"the college is just around the corner, a few blocks and you'll see it."

"You're a big girl and not going to start crying now are you"he said as he motioned for her to open the door.

Sasha could feel her blood boiling in anger.

the son of a bitch.how dare he. Sasha got out of the car and turned to give him a piece of her mind but the car was already racing the other way with Noah's hand waving through the window.
