Parker’s POV
Both of our moods improved after letting Saxon go for a run with Xavier. Maddox and I were able to talk when our wolves allowed us to take over. The idea of me becoming the Alpha was a source of laughter for Maddox, especially since he had lost that status. It means I could offer a home to people like Dani and Caren.
I am nervous, but Maddox thinks I was born to be an Alpha of a pack. Especially with Dani being my mate. He also told me he would support me in setting up the pack. He also hoped I would offer him a home. That sets me off crying again. “My home is wherever my family is.” I told him. “That is why I want to take up King Dawson’s offer. Because Millie was like family to me.” I needed to speak to Dani first.
With that, we let our wolves have a bit more time
