4:20AM Opening the doorway Clara was excited to hear the yappy barks of her pup, getting louder as she ran to her. Bending down Clara let out a small laugh "Its just me" she said as the pup buried itself into her excitedly. Having only had the small pup for a few months Clara smiled knowing she now couldn't live without her; Kali was found a small shivering mess during one of Claras hunts, destined to become a sacrifice to one of the demon scum she had killed. As she lay down in her small cot, Kali laying by her feet, Clara thought of the vamp she had killed just an hour ago. He was the 207th monstrocity that she had ended. Keeping count was the only thing that was keeping Clara sane, she has been killing monsters since she was 16 years old, The same year her father has succumbed to those monsters; she still didn't know who had killed him but she was determined to find out. Waking to the sound of footsteps, Clara bounced upright. Glancing around the room she realised the steps were coming from Kali, Smiling, she unwrapped herself from the blankets, knowing it was "pee time". Clipping Kali's leash onto her collar Clara opened the door allowing the blistering hot sun to enter the apartment momentarily, Within moments of leaving the apartment Clara felt an eerily sense of dread as if someone were watching her. Trying to keep her focus on the pup below, She wearily eyed everyone who passed mometerily distracted by the young girl holding her fathers hand as they strolled by. Upon entering her apartment she unclipped Kali's leash then went to brew herself a cup of coffee
