Chapter 5

The morning had dawned when Kaisley opened her eyes. She woke up in bed she was unfamiliar with and in the room she did not know who's the owner. Kaisley had a headache, so she had a hard time trying to get up. She tried to remember all the events that took place only yesterday. Kaisley covered her mouth as she remembered everything.

Kaisley looked around, but could not find the person she was looking for. Kaisley hurried to get up and leave the room. She went to the kitchen and there she found what she was looking for. Looking good seating across the table while eating its own breakfast. Nick turned in Kaisley's direction when he noticed the girl's presence.

"I'm not a maid in this house, so if you want to eat you cook by yourself."

Kaisley frowned at what the young man said. She knew that this is going to happened. That is why she didn't bothered to the man's rudeness.

"Okay. Can I use and eat your food here at home? I'll just pay them when everything is fine."

The young man just shrugged at what Kaisley said. Although it was not clear to Kaisley what the young man's response was, she simply chose to go to the refrigerator and get the food she saw there. Kaisley took milk and bread since she also had no appetite. Kaisley silently sat down next to Nick and ate quietly.

Kaisley does not want to talk to the young man anymore because Kaisley is not talking to someone she does not know very well. Kaisley is introvert type person. That is also the reason why she does not have many friends at the school she attends.

But even if Kaisley tries to avoid the young man talking to her, she can do nothing but to answer him since it's not her territory she was living right now.

"So now, tell me all the details."

"Huh? Ah... But..."

"All the details." After Nick repeated his speech, he continued to eat.

Kaisley sighed when she could do nothing, but tell everything. "Like I said, I was with Aisle at school when we saw and witnessed Jhorn Ad's murdering someone named, Maria with those tuxedos men. We were supposed to leave, but Jhorn notice where Aisle and I were hiding so he quickly fired a gun in our direction. It hit Aisle direction and killed him. " Kaisley looked at the young companion to see his reaction.

Nick just sighed as he seemed to be deep in thought. "Why were you there again and how did you escape or run away from them?" Nick turned in Kaisley's direction, but Kaisley averted his gaze from him.

To this day, Kaisley is still unsure whether she should tell the full details about the film or not, but Kaisley decided that if she asked for help she should just tell everything before it's too late.

Kaisley took a deep breath and bravely answered Nick's question. "Aisle and I were both members of the NEWS club and we were at the school to gather information about what we heard about a student that selling a drugs at school every night. Aisle and I captured the whole incident that night. I run away with the film that containing all the evidences about their crime. That's why they're chasing me now. " Kaisley took another deep breath before continuing her speech.

"I escaped because before Aisle finally died and Jhorn could get in our direction, I ran away. I left Aisle for the film and to give the police the film I was holding." Kaisley burst into tears when she remembered what she had done.

Until now, Kaisley still blames herself for leaving her well-known friend. She could still save her friend if only she didn't choose to run away with the film. She could still together with her friends if only they didn't went to the school that day.

Nick, on the other hand, had no reaction to what Kaisley said. He just keeps on eating. Kaisley was about to continue eating when Nick's cellphone suddenly rang. Nick stopped to eat and answered whoever was calling him. Kaisley quietly resumed eating.

"What? Okay. I will turn on the television." Nick stood up and headed to his living room.

Kaisley's gaze followed the young man, but Kaisley's curiosity increased so she got up and just followed Nick. He turned on the television exactly when Kaisley arrived. Kaisley was startled and released the milk she was holding when she saw what was in the news.

BREAKING NEWS:

A female student was killed at the school of Santo Tomas Aquino University along with a man who is also studying here. These are Maria and Aisle Marquez. Authorities are still investigating, but it is possible that the killer of the two was Kaisley Witsney who is also studying at Santo Tomas Aquino University and is said to be a colleague of Aisle Marquez. The case has not yet been confirmed by the case holders, but the woman is currently being sought for investigation.

Kaisley's whole body trembled and she cried because of what she heard on the news.

"How... I can't do that thing." Kaisley was almost out of balance in her position. Fortunately, Kaisley was able to hold the small chair.

Nick turned in Kaisley's direction and saw fear and sadness in the girl's eyes.

"So, they did this too?" Nick burst out laughing in excitement at what was happening. Instead of feeling sorry for Kaisley, Nick felt very happy.

"What are you saying? Do you still enjoy everything you've watch?"

"What am I saying? What I am saying is that they did it to further limit the area you are in. Now it is easier for them to find you and kill you."

Kaisley was weakened by what Nick said. It was as if he just wanted to keep up with the flow of life and face all the dangers that awaited them. Nick approached Kaisley. Nick grabbed Kaisley's two shoulders and stared her into her hazle brown eyes.

"Don't worry. No matter how difficult your situation is, I will still do everything to fulfill my mission. I promise, I will protect you until we both see the king of hell."

Kaisley couldn't help, but stare into the young man's eyes especially when it hit the sunlight. Although the young man's expression to the girl did not change, Kaisley felt the truth in Nick's words. It was as if Kaisley felt the presence of an angel as the young man watched by her.
