Chapter five

Zayn's pov:

We went to uncle Lucas's house this weekend. He was really nice and down to earth person. We all talked for a bit then uncle asked worker to call his daughter. After few mins she came downstairs and I was shocked. I didn't expect to see the same girl I met in the mall. So I'm going to marry her I tought. At least I'm glad that she is pretty. She was looking absolutely gorgeous in that simple dress which she was wearing. It hugged her curves in right places. She was facing others but didn't notice me. After a min she moved her head and saw me. Her expression was priceless. She was really shocked. It's going to be fun I thought but didn't let anything show on my face. Uncle introduced her to everyone then I came to know her name. Alissa, her name is beautiful just like her. I kept staring at her face but didn't speak to her. After some time my dad asked us speak in private. She took me to the garden and I told her that I'm not doing this wedding willingly so not to expect anything from me and also asked her if she could somehow cancel the wedding. But she said that she can't because of her father. I nodded and left. She chose this life for her I already warned her.

             Our family became really when we told them that we agree. They fixed our wedding date on 25th which is two weeks from now. I told them that it's two early but my parents said that I have to attend a business trip and they don't want to delay the wedding. They know that I can change my decision anytime so they want me to marry as soon as possible. When we were leaving I looked at her I was thinking of bidding her bye but left that thought. I do not want to give her any false hopes. I can't love anyone because of my past.

Alissa's pov:

One week went quickly and I have only one week left for my wedding. I did my wedding dress shopping with Cristi and Lily. Lily and I became really close in a short period of time. We talked on phone many times.

               Today me and Zayn are suppose to go for our wedding ring shopping. He called me this morning for the first time. I didn't have his number so it showed unknown number when my phone ranged. I picked up and spoke " Hello". He spoke " It's me Zayn" " Oh okay" I replied. He added" listen I want you to go to ring shopping with me because my mom asked me", "umm okay" I replied. "be ready by twelve thirty and be quick because I have work after" with that he cut the call. I quickly had my breakfast and got ready. I wore a turtle neck top with  black leather pants did my makeup and went downstairs. I was ten minutes passed twelve. I got a call from him and he asked me to come outside. He was waiting for me in his Mercedes. The butler came outside and opened the door for me. I got inside the car and saw him sitting there wearing his work clothes which was a blue suit. He was looking absolutely gorgeous. He caught staring at him and cleared his throat. I felt embarrassed and adverted my eyes away from him. There was an awkward silence between us throughout the ride. I kept looking outside the window or at my lap. The car finally halted and we arrived at our destination. We got outside the car. He brought me to a really big jewelry store. We went inside and he asked me to look for our rings. I was clueless all the time. I didn't want to spend money on such thing so he again asked me " did you like anything?". I replied " I don't know all these are very expensive. I want to buy something cheap." He said " we don't have time to go to another shop, choose something from here. Don't worry about the money." when he saw that I was still not choosing anything he asked the shop keeper to show the best ring. I told him many times that I don't want any expensive ring but he didn't listen to me. He told me " you are going to be my wife so I want everything of my status" So I shut my mouth and looked down. He got the most expensive rings for us and we left the store. After coming out he asked me "do you want to go to a restaurant to have lunch?" I politely rejected his request saying "it's alright I know you are busy. I'll have lunch at home you just drop me."

                After that he dropped me at my home and left. He is really weird I thought and went inside.

*Skip to the wedding day*

Today is the day when I'll get tied to person I don't even know that well. I am standing in front of the mirror looking at my own reflection. I am wearing a beautiful  mermaid wedding dress. My hair is done in updo. I have a little makeup on my face which helped in enhancing my natural features. I heard a nock and my dad came inside. He is looking at me with tears in his eyes. He said "you are looking beautiful my sunshine"

       I hugged him. I am really nervous. I don't know how my life is going to be after these. My friend Cristi, Aroura and Linda also came inside and started encouraging me. My dad said "its time sunshine let's go". I held my father's hand and we started walking. When we came near the entrance I could see Zayn standing on the stage. He is looking at me. And when I looked into his eyes I couldn't see anything else. I walked down tha aisle with my dad he pecked me on my cheek and went to his seat.

              I was literally feeling very shy so I keptblooking down. Zayn held my hand and made me wear the ring on my finger. The moment I held his hand I started having mixed feelings inside me. I slid the ring on his finger and everyone started clapping and cheering. The priest said " Now we will start the wedding ceremony". And added " Do you Zayn Smith take Alissa as your lawfully wedded wife?" He looked into my eyes and said " I Zayn Smith, take you, Alissa Willson to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health. I promise to always love and cherish you till death do us apart". I thought is he really saying the vows from his heart or it is only for showing others?

           The priest asked me " do you Alissa Willson accept Zayn Smith as your lawfully wedded husband?". I said " I Alissa Willson accept Zayn Smith as my husband. I vow to have the patience which love desires. To always stand by your side in both good and bad times. I vow to carry you and to be carried by you. I vow to always love and cherish you till death do us apart". The preist said " with that I announce you husband and wife, now you may kiss the bride" with that everyone started cheering for us. He came closer to my. My breathing got stuck I haven't kissed anyone before. This my first kiss and I'm really nervous so I closed my eyes. I felt him lifting my veil and he gave a quick peck to me on my lips".

            Then one by one everyone came and congratulated us. I really got tired after everyone started leaving. Mom came near us and said that it's time for us to go home. During leaving time I got emotional. I hugged my dad and Cristi and cried. Then they made me sit inside the car with
